Soojung was the product of a relationship that had the business world in turmoil. Being that her mother was a maid of the famous Jung family, it was never part of their plan to have another daughter into their family, that alone one who was from a maid at their home. Soojung was raised by her mother alone who had to work 3 jobs at a time to continue financing little Soojung and her. Nevertheless, her mother never forgot to spare her time and smile. In her mother's eyes Soojung was a sweet blessing despite being chewed on verbally by the Jung family and being treated like garbage. She saw Soojung as her light and adored her completely.

Growing up she was adored by whoever she met, she was a smart and charismatic child who had a say on everything. Living quietly in a village away from the big city and Jungs', there was nothing more than two of them had to ask for. Soojung was pleased with the little life they had.

But happiness could never be in her side forever. Time seemed to stop as she learned her mother had cancer. She was devastated and didn't know what to do. When her young mind had finally decided to approach her father as the bills were piling up, she was, as violently one can think of, was shoved away. Her father never sparred a second to glance at the young child. Due to financial struggles and constant shoving of the two, Soojung found herself on the streets and no mother to cling on them.

Years pass and as Soojung got accepted into any kind of job her fragile hand can hold unto, she got enough to rent a small apartment and got into a university. But still everyday the thought of being able to bring down her father's family was enough to keep her going- even with just, sometimes, one meal a day.
