I might look confident and strong but I think I'm the absolute opposite: self-concious and weak. I'm super awkward, but some of my friends disagree so honeslty I don't know anymore. One of my friends described me as bubbly, but I don't really know what that means. Like does that mean I'm happy-go-lucky or something? I don't know. 

I think the way I got into K-Pop was really surprising. I used to be that person that didn't really understand why people made such a big deal about music and why everybody seemed so upset about it. Like once in middle school we had to do a biography about our favorite artist, and I was totally lost. I didn't listen to music or anything. After a couple of kids teased me about it, I tried listening to the 'good' songs. I didn't really like them, but I pretended to like them to try to fit in. I know, you should'nt do that, but some people made me feel really uncomfortable about that. So, after a year of pretending to like music about and drugs I befriended a girl who liked K-Pop. Before that I wasn't aware that K-Pop really existed. I didn't even understand the whole North Korea, South Korea thing lol. I wasn't arrogant or stupid or anything, I just found no need to have knowledge about it. So anyway, I found out she liked these super, cute, asian boys that sang and danced. For art she even brought in a picture of one of them (it ended up being Thunder from MBLAQ) to draw. I about it then, subtly making fun of them. But one day, one very eventful and important day in computer class we were allowed to listen to music. She asked me if I wanted to listen, because I didn't have headphones or an i-Pod or anything. I just thought what the heck, and decided to give it a shot. She played "Let you go" by TRAX, and OMG kids, I completely fell in love. Yeah, I didn't understand the language, but the music was just beautiful. The singer (Jay) had such an amazing voice, and I was completely captivated by it. He showed so much emotion in his voice, and it was completely different than the music I was exposed to. I could tell it wasn't about or drugs, there was much more to it than that, and I could sense this due to his voice. Surprising her and myself I let her play another song. The next song she played was "Hello" by SHINee. This song wasn't filled with sorrow, or any other distinct emotion, but it was preppy, happy, cute, and again completely different than other songs. Their voices were also pretty amazing, like JongHyun's voice literally made me fall in love. It wasn't autotuned and it wasn't fake. Before I knew it I was completely taken over by K-Pop. I was starting too look at bands, mostly SHINee (Hello) got me obssesed. I realized that these guys could not only sing well, but they danced well, and they weren't lacking in looks. They were really good looking. Their songs were catchy, and good. I looked up the lyrics and was more than happy to find out that they weren't swearing or talking about obsene things. The lyrics were cute, and completely matched the music of the song. I then was swept into the whirlwind of K-Pop, and found myself trapped, not like I minded or anything. And as my journey contiuned, my love and obsession for it, increased and I started learning the language and culture unconciously. And that's how I am here today. Haha, I didn't mean for it to be that long, but that's my story of how I got into K-Pop. Surprising, isn't it?
