Let's be friends!

And if you read my stories...

About Me

Many of you might already know me, if you go to viki.com and watch Korean drama, Japanese drama, Filipino drama, and/or Taiwanese drama.  Yep, I'm the ever popular segmenter, translator, and, oh so, famous editor.  ㅋㅋㅋ!

I'm a true registered Korean INSPIRIT.  I'm also a BAPy and BBC.

I've lived in Korea, but just recently moved back to the States this year.  (I'm regretting it with every fiber of my being.)  In the next 2-3 years, I plan to move back, hopefully, to Pyeongtaek where I once lived.  If I can move to Seoul, that would be jackpot, but it's so expensive.  LOL!  I have been on Korean TV twice!!  Yep, you've read that right.  I was on EBS on a talk show discussing the benefits for English volunteerism and why I chose to do it instead of getting hired by the Korean government.  And.... *drumroll*.... I was in a Korean drama.  Yes... I was.  By accident.  It's a long story, but you'll find me in ep8 of Saving Mrs. Go Bongshil.  And by chance, my church friend, knew somebody, who knew a brother of a famous Korean actor.  My life revolved and I was able to meet Seo Ji Seok privately.  Oh, yes... that man is better looking in person.  Holy Enchilada!

If you ever want to know what it's like to be an American in Korea, just ask.  In general, most of the Korean population, especially the elderly, love us.  Americans are their friends who saved them from destruction from North Korea and they are ever so grateful.

I'm not Korean by any means of the imagination.  Not a of Asian blood runs through my bones.  I'm the typical white American mutt from down south.  I was born in Arkansas but raised in Texas.

Just call me Unni/Noona... why?  Because most likely I'm older than you.  I'm probably the oldest person here at this website.  Ha!

I first discovered the Hallyu culture around 2006.  Rain (비) was starring in Full House... and that was all she wrote.  I was in love.  From there, my Korean drama and Kpop existence began.  From Rain, to Shinhwa, to DBSK, to Super Junior,....and so on, and I've finally found my dream Kpop group in INFINITE.

Well, that's me in a nutshell!  ㅋㅋㅋ!
