Hey~ Jenny here! That’s actually my Korean name and I happen to like it a lot. It sounds really simple, and common. It’s so common; the name’s almost equivalent to the word Anonymous. But if you look at it from a Korean person’s perspective, the name Jenny is pretty rare. I’m from New York City and I grew up with all different kinds of people. I guess I went through an identity crisis up until around 8th grade. But doesn’t anyone once in their lives? Something like going with the flow, copying everyone else’s style, and just hanging out with people that aren’t really your true friends. Sounds sad but I’m thankful that happened early in my childhood. I’m now completely satisfied with everything. I became extremely interested in fashion and makeup for the last few years. Heels are actually my biggest obsession right now; I have a collection which I cherish very much.

I’m not even sure when I even discovered the existence of fan fiction. In the beginning, a friend of mine in middle school introduced me to role playing. I remember I had a lot of fun making up stories. The idea of creating an idea got me hooked. I stopped role playing long time ago but right after that phase, I preferred reading anything; from my favorite celebrities to my favorite Hollywood movies. I always knew about k-pop. I loved G.O.D and Shinhwa a lot back then.

From now on, I plan to write a lot of fan fictions one at a time though. I realized a lot of people get overwhelmed by the amount they have to finish and end up just giving up. I like using some basic plots from the media to intertwine with k-pop idols into my own kind of story. Other than that, I’m capable of creating something new and I give those a lot of thought. When I used to scribble in my notebook, I used to be extremely descriptive. But I don’t know now, I get tired and feel like I’m forcing myself which I don’t want to feel as I write for my readers. So I try to keep my writings simple and straight to the point.

Like I said before about loving to read about my favorite celebrities and Hollywood movies, I’ll list a few. I even still read till this day about Iron Man, Sherlock Holmes, and Inception. My favorite actors of all time are Robert Downey Jr., Joseph Gordan-Levitt, Gerard Butler and Johnny Depp. I like expressive guys, kind of dominant, cool and independent. As for my favorite k-pop idols, I’ll list them underneath. As for genre, I enjoy reading romantic comedies. Angst and sad stories aren’t for me. I’d probably attempt at it in my own but who knows how it’d come out.

Asianfanfics wasn’t the first place I went to, to post something up. It was actually Winglin. I liked how we could make our own sites and take control of the way things were run. Although it’s hard to keep track of them, it was easy to just click anything you wanted to read. But apparently, I was getting viruses from that site so I moved here. Winglin is like my ex-boyfriend, I’m really comfortable with the site that I’m tempted to go back but there are reasons to why it’s not a good idea. But after I met Asianfanfics and spent some time together, I now think it’s a good decision. We get along great and when I get messages from it (‘New Subscribers’ and ‘New Comments’), I get really excited. Hope we go a long way, lol.
