I know what we had was real. And  if in some distant place in the future , we see each other in our new lives then I'll smile at you with joy and remember the summer we spent beneath the trees; learning from each other and growing in love.

    The best love is the kind that weakens the soul and makes us reach for more. That brings peace to our minds and plants a fire in our hearts and that's what you've given me. That's what I hope to give you for ever more. 

   I almost wish we were butterflies. And lived but three summer days. Three such days with you, I could fill with more delight than fifty common years could ever contain...
