hi there! i'm chanel, but feel free to call me channa~ i'm awkward when i first meet someone, unfortunately, but once we get to know each other we're bffs tbh. if you want to be aquainted with me, then all you have to do is say hi~ then i'll ask how your day is blah blah, and to make it less awkward you probably shouldn't say, "it's good." say how your day is! say what you did from the moment you woke up to now! unless you just woke up then that's a totally different story LMFAO  but then after your little story i'll tell you mine, and from there we can pick apart everything. #socializing101withchanel anyway, about me. i love style and designing. i always enjoy creating designs whether it's designing your house to designing a poster, i can do it. i also love fashion. though i don't look fashionable, if i had to dress a model up (and given a whole wardrobe bc poor), i can do it. sadly, i'm poor so i just have a few outfits that i really like. in the future, i'd really love it if i could sing. i know i'm not the best out there, but hopefully i can take some vocal lessons in the future. i'm always joining choirs everywhere. from 3rd-6th grade, i've been singing every tuesday and sunday for my church choir. 6-8th grade, school choir. in 8th grade, i was practically the leader of the whole choir. (it wasn't hard getting up there, everyone always hesitated when singing. lmfao no one knows how to sing into the mic.) i always led the choir and the school, though i had my moments where nothing came out of my mouth. for the next four years, i'll be in a choir with women who aren't hesitant to sing at all. i'm hoping i can learn from there and get to the top. anyway, enough of my private life.

♡  my kpop life

 

i first got into the kpop fandom in may of 2011. though i've heard many songs from my friend, it never stuck to me. she'd always sing snsd's "gee" and talk about shinee. i remember her showing my f(x)'s chu a bit after it came out, and it was on replay for about a week. it didn't stick to me, though. then when she came over to my house, she played shinee's lucifer. still wasn't enough to me in. then later, i was watching a wong fu productions video and they sang snsd's "gee." then i was like oh hey helen sings that. i should check it out! ohoho, that desicion changed my life. i ended up watching gee, and was like, "hm... what's that other group helen keeps talking about? oh! shinee!" and looked them up too. the first music videos from them that i watched were hello, lucifer, and ring ding dong. one thing led to another, and i was watching one episode of their hello baby every night. i loved it; those five were freaking hilarious and i just fell in love with them. at the time, my bias was jonghyun, the stupid lasagna haired cutie of the group. then later on, as i did more and more stalking, i stumbled upon taemin's thj cuts. his hair and face and everything about him in that drama was the best thing ever. well, that and his lucifer hair. his lucifer hair. unf. after that, i got into a few more groups such as ft island, mblaq, f(x), snsd, super junior, and about a billion more groups. then i discovered B1A4 through a blog post here on aff titled, "B1A4 or Boyfriend?" and i looked both groups up. i loved b1a4 way more than boyfriend. idk. but i was leaning a bit towards boyfriend because of the jo twins LMFAO. but then i kept listening to b1a4 and boy, i really loved their song. it was just... the cutest thing on this planet ok, don't judge. fast forward to november / december 2011. this is when the exo teasers came out.  of course, i was there since kai's first teaser was at 302 views. i loved it. i thought about kai a lot from then on and fantasized about taemin, kai, and i playing around. yeah. don't judge me~ then i remember when mama came out. i watached it that morning and i remember clearly laughing at the prologue. oh man the prologue. nonsense LMFAO. fast forward to a few days ago (this is getting really long, i bet a lot of you are like tl;dr) my new otp was born. why i ship these two? i don't know, actually. i don't know how i began shipping them, or why i even ship them, but they're just so good together. i lovee it. i love them. though, this otp is making me kris biased. i'm chanyeol biased, i swear. ; ;
