I am a Tuesday 2 a.m.

I am a broken window during February.

I, Waiting and Sadness know each other very well.

With eyes, mind and soul, I am constantly writing a love story.

I fall from elegance with a dull thud.

And, I apologize for my awkward silence.

I sometimes believe that I don't belong around people,

That I belong to all the leap days that didn't happen.

The way laughter and melancholy mix under my skin become a storm.

You don't see it, but you hear the echoes . . .
