"YoonYul FanFic Contest 3"

to celebrate YoonYul's Day at 8 August 2013

This is the third time that YoonYul thread holds an official FanFic contest.

We really appreciate to everyone who would join in this contest
 

 

Now we are open for submissions.

 

 

 

Please go through the rules and guidelines carefully before submitting your entry..
 
 
Requirements

• Participants must be members of Soshified
• Entries must be sent in before 08:08 PM KST 2^nd of August 2013

 

 

General Rules

• All entries must be in English
• All entries must follow existing Soshified Fanfics rules
• All stories must be one-shots which will fits in one post
• All entries must be about YoonYul pairing. You can include side pairings but the story focus has to be about YoonYul.
• All genres accepted as long as it does not break the Soshified Fanfic Rules.
• Entries must be new and written specifically for the contest by your own, and never been posted anywhere else. (NO PLAGIARISM)
• Entries will be judged and posted anonymously.  Anyone who revealed their fictions will be disqualified.
• Your entries can't be posted anywhere online until after the contest ends
• No changes or editing can be done after submission
• You can enter as many submissions as you want, but you can ONLY win once
• Breaching any of the above may result in disqualification

 

 

ENTRY SUBMISSION

• Your entry MUST be sent to BlackBear through PM. Type "YYFC 3rd Entry" in Title of PM and put your one-shot inside of it
• Once you send in your entry, you can’t re-edit it and resend it again. Please be sure to proofread your entries PRIOR to submission.
• You will get confirmation after you sent your entry in 1 X 24 hours, if you don't get the confirmation please re-send again your entry.
• Please fill out this form at top of PM (before your one-shot) when you PM your entry:

         Title     : [Title of your one-shot]
         Author   : [Your username]
         Rating    : [G, PG, or PG-13]
         Genre    : [Romance, Comedy, etc]
         Do you want to remain anonymous after the contest is over? [Yes or No]
 
 
Judging

• Score will be made on a scale of 1 - 10 with 1 being the lowest, and 10 being the highest.
• Your entry will be judged by Judges who have been selected already and are trusted.
• Scores from each individual judge will be added up in the end and that will be your final score.
• Judges identities will stay anonymous until winners have been announced
• The entries will be judged on:

      ->Plot/Content - Was it a good story?

      ->Conventions - Grammatical usage, punctuation, and spelling.

      ->Appeal - Judges' point of view. Did the story appeal to them?

      ->Overall - The above three categories added together. This is your final score from the individual judge.

      ->Personal comments - Judges will explain their reasoning in how they rated the one-shot.
 

 

 

Results

• We will be creating a single compilation thread to hold all of the entries anonymously
• After the submission deadline (August 2nd), entries will be posted in groups. There will be one group posted in the morning and there will be one group posted in the afternoon. This will continue on for 5 days until August 7th.
• There can’t be any form of conversation taking place in the result thread
• This also means that authors cannot write "replies" through the thread
• Results will be released in 8^th August 2013 in 08:08 PM KST. We will edit each entry and reveal the author if the author want to be revealed.
