Sungmin grew up with foster parents because of a tragic crash when he was the age of seven. His parents died at the scene and Sungmin was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. With forgotten memories of his biological parents, he's only left with music. Something his parents loved and always played for him. He loves to sing and play instruments, and he had already learned to play the guitar, piano, harmonica, drums, and is currently learning to play the violin.
He 's average at school and his studies. He's playful and likes teasing people whom he's close to. He can be rather shy when you first meet him, but once you start to get to know him he'll be more comfortable around you. He's kind-hearted and will always put others before himself.

Long ago.. Before his parents died.. He played with a young boy around the same age as him whenever he went to his grandmother's house. He suddenly disappeared, and when he got into the crash, he forgot him completely.. Until recently.
