Chen is cold and quiet, but surprisingly weak on the inside. He wants people to love him and care for him, but in return he can't give anything. He doesn't know how to express himself well enough.

He doesn't remember anything about himself up till the point when he was 18 years old. That was when he woke up in a hospital, and a doctor told him his name was Kim Jongdae, and that he was in China. At the same time, something made him think of the word "Chen" and from that moment on, that was what he called himself.

He roamed the streets aimlessly, getting money the only way he knew how- pickpocketing. One day, one victim of his pickpocketing- the boss of a modelling industry- caught him and nearly sent him to the police.  Chen begged him not to, and in his sympathy, he took him in to work for him.

Chen the model earned loads of money. He's now super rich and he has his boss Mr Park to thank for it. After all that, though, his hard heart still won't be melted.
