About Me
Backstory
Hyomin was a lonely kid from a poor family. She never had any friends, and was always the outcast. All the boys in school called her ugly, , loner, etc. Hyomin would cry herself to sleep as a teenager because she didn't know why she had to put up with all this . There were plenty of others to mess with, too. Why her? She always sulked in corners and watched people from them. Not like a stalker, but just to judge them. She figured that if she was being judged, that she could, too. Having no friends led to her severe depression, lack of social skills, suicidal thoughts (and some attempts), doubt, the feel of rejection, the idea that she didn't deserve anyone to love or have friends. She was incredibly smart, though, and the only interaction she got was the less intelligent asking for help. Hyomin was really a girl anyone would want to date if you were just judging on looks, but apparently some people are just s and won't open their minds to anything. Therefore, having no one at all, not even her parents, who had died in a gang shooting they walked through, she was a . At a senior's party that everyone was invited to, she walked up and was approached by a few guys. She was terrified and let out little squeaks as they kept pushing her against a tree and walls and molesting her, messing with her hair and trying to undress her. Eventually, since she had no self-defense skills, she was stripped of everything pure in her. She grew her hair long so she could feel safe; like it was a barrier or a safety blanket. To make some sort of statement, she dyed it bright red. Hyomin has stayed quiet and secluded for most of her life. To try and forget her terrible past, Hyomin ran away and found a place called Code Paradox. She stayed in a hotel there, and has come to love the place.
Present
Hyomin's still very quiet and secluded, but she hides her depression and suicidal thoughts from society by being a bit ditzy, and saying that she got cut by a tree when it was really her own doing. She believes she'll never find love, it's almost a conviction, but she still is slightly looking. She lives really nowhere, although, the hotel she stays at is providing her a very high quality room as long as she does strenuous amounts of work. Hyomin does have time for 'social' events, like strolling around beaches and parks and libraries; whatever she wants. (She works as a cook in the hotel's kitchen).
