Born to the royal family, Sooyeon was destined for greatness. Although, with a father like hers, things were bound to happen to mess up her life. After he hit her a few times as a young child, she became cold, almost icy, toward everyone she met or talked to. The only person she ever let see her emotion was Jiho, her childhood friend. But things changed on her 14th birthday. "Oppa!" She had called out to him, seeing the elder on the other side of a room. "Appa says that I get my own personal servant today!" Her tone was joyous, but her grin fell when she saw the way he was dressed. "Oppa... Why are you dressed in servants' clothes?" Sooyeon asked quietly and stood in front of him, tilting her head as she looked up at the boy. "Yeonnie..." He shook his head, changing the words he was about to say. "Princess Sooyeon... I am your personal servant. Tell me what you need, and I shall do it for you."
Years later, their relationship has somewhat grown. Sooyeon still thinks of him as her lovable and dorky best friend, but her composure around him has changed. She makes sure that her beauty is at its best, and her unnaturally golden locks are perfectly in place. Unsure of her true feelings, she keeps their time together as minimal as possible, not that she can really do anything about having a personal servant. Sometimes she has to beg and plead, just for him to leave the room while she fixes her hair. Even though Jiho is male, he still changes her clothing and bathes her, causing the male to have uncomfortable bulges that the girl doesn't understand. She may seem like a cold at times, but that will change if you can get close enough to touch her heart.
Now, in the decade of the 1890's, the girl has two separate identities. She lives as a dainty noble by day, a seductive dancer by night. She fears for the day that someone realizes that Jessica and Sooyeon are one and the same.
