Why are you humans reading my page?

       Hello, 안녕하세요， 你們好， こんにちは! (yeah that's all the languages I'm going to say I know so no one starts to test me)

 My name is Erik, my Korean name is Jaehyeon (안재현). You can call me either, but I usually go by Erik.

Welcome to my page? No, actually, very much welcome, I like the attention.

Enjoy your stay, leave a comment or drop a message. Human interaction is appreciated roughly 90% of the time.

 

Though I'm not new per-say to AFF, I haven't used it much until now, bear with me a bit.

Please feel free to talk to me, or offer any advice you might have for me. Actually, on second thought, please contact me, and offer advice, suggestions, comments, or whatever you may want to say. Nothing makes me happier than interacting with people and getting feedback on my work. I will be posting a variety of my work here, including fanfics, fanart, roleplays (really mostly fanfiction). 

 

 I hope you enjoy my work, and I cannot thank you enough for looking at it. Actually, I'm impressed you've read all of this already. That's pretty cool just on its own. Anyways, I'm a little weird, but really easy to talk to and make friends with, so please feel free to message me if the mood strikes.

About Me? This should be fun:

      I am a fanboy, an actor and an artist (and hell I'll credit myslef to say musician too).

Newly adult, starting to live life and put experience under my belt in addition to schooling and work, but there's always room for Kpop and being a fanboy no?

Writing, as for probably a lot of people here, has always been my escape, and passion (it's only gotten even better since I learned fanfic are so appreciated by general readers). Although life has a very convient way of making us too busy to sit down and write world-class novels to post, I have found that the busier life gets, the easier and more inspirational it is to write. (I was the weird kid in the back of your science class with the glasses that's secretly writing gay fanfiction during test prep).  

A word of warning for my writing, however; I write the really gritty, angsty stuff. (If you want to read fluff, I would suggest leaving this page). I find that exposing and writing about the ugliest parts of life and death is what makes stories, music and art so beautiful.

As an actor and a film editer / script writer I have found that there is nothing more satisfying than stirring emotions from your audience with your work, causing two tears more than laughs. (Though I'm not saying I don't write cracky comedy sometimes too)

 

Anything else you want to know about me, well, you can ask me yourself. I really won't mind answering any questions, so ask away. I work with many different mediums, but most commonly I will share my writings and fanart. I love rping, so if you are a RP-er and want to write with me, let me know and I'll exchange contact information (I roleplay as KRIS, KIM JONGHYUN, CHOI MINHO, LEE JOON and a number of other amazingly y k-men).

About My Writing:

What I'm going to be posting here are Kpop fanworks, most likely exclusive to SHINee and EXO with the exception of cameos (prepare for some Taiwanese idols to appear occasionally). Most will have a focus on Romance and/or , generally of a more Action or Fantasy genre, mostly always in an AU setting. I try to keep my characters very close to how I would assume the real idols would react in the presented situation. Be prepared for a tragedy of some sort in every one. 

I've never written heteroual works, so don't expect any of those. As well as Original Character, or "You" fanfic (I have my oppositions to those).
