I demand a round of applause for you guys! Seriously, you are amazing, and I really mean it. I can't believe that this managed to get featured (I still remember when this had barely 100 subscribes) and to see how far you've come is really amazing.
When I got scent the deactivation of the actual host, I was a bit worried as to how it would go on with the awards. But you guys took it in your hands and continued with this wonderful award. I find it amazing that everything seems to work out. And what's also amazing is that this inspired other fandoms as well. I'm talking too much, haha.
Renzei and wishful, I'm sure I speak for all supporters of this award, thank you so much!
Chapter 4: I agree. The voters/subscribers should do their part so that this wouldn't end up as another popularity contest. When the master list is posted, let's do our own 'review'. No, I am not asking the voters to write but just give scores to fics based on the rubric in the foreword. Then, select the fic that is most suited to win the category it was nominated for. At least know the rubric and don't just vote the fic because you were subscribed to it. Read the other entries as well, at least the first three chappies. Since I don't read , I won't vote in that category.
Let us help each other. I really want to get rid of the label that stories under the EXO tags are the worst written fics in AFF. Lol. Let us show them that there are well-written fics as well, even though they are not featured in the front page.
Perhaps you could move the announcements chapter. Others might think you are just bumping your story up. It is obvious that there are others who aren't reading if you look at the comments section.
Chapter 8: I guess both have their pros and cons...but honestly, I know how it feels to not score high for a review, so perhaps you should ask the authors first. ^^ (exactly like what you said~ ^^)
Honestly, I'm not too in favour of the voting system (wouldn't that mean popular stories bag all the awards?), but I can tell a lot of effort has been put into this, and honestly, it's really great that you guys decided to continue this, so I'm not complaining. :D anyway, if you decide to base the winners off judging, people will accuse you of favouritism. /sighs :P Oh well, you can't please everyone.
Anyway, the best thing is that the master list will be a great fic rec for Exotics! ^^ (that's like practically the main reason why I sub to awards, other than nominating stories lol)
