Chapter 1: Heol. Communication is definitely important so you could understand each other. There are so many what ifs in the world but I think that it will be worth the risk for someone you love and loves you back as well. Very nice story. :)

Chapter 1: I'm happy that this story got featured, because if it hadn't, I would have missed out on such a beautiful story and wonderful writing.
I love the way you write with such details, even for the tiniest things, right from the start, like this part here: 'Poking her head out of her blanket cocoon, she checks all the notifications in her phone.' There's a lot of showing rather than telling, which is good.
It's so cute seeing how excited Seulgi was about her one-year anniversary with Joohyun, with her marking her calendar and all. And then we get to see how they started and the way Seulgi sees Joohyun in her eyes even the smallest things.
The difference in their age seemed to have taken a toll on Seulgi, seeing how she's jealous of Sooyoung and Yerim. Throughout this story, I feel that we get to see just how mature Seulgi is despite her being younger than Joohyun and her being a student. It's inevitable that despite her maturity she would question Joohyun's love for her because she did seem to give more than she received.
The angst here really made my heart ache. It hurts seeing Seulgi's expectations of a one-year anniversary not met. I could feel just how lost Seulgi was during their dinner date, and the part where her self-doubts crept in was just painful to see. You've described the emotions Seulgi felt in great details like this part: 'There's a knot forming in and she tries her best to swallow it down so she can flash her usual smile to Joohyun, her usual understanding smile to show that she's mature enough for Joohyun, that she's not a clingy girl who's begging for Joohyun's affection.'
I love how smooth the transition in POVs from Seulgi to Joohyun was! After seeing things in Seulgi's perspective, we got to see things through Joohyun's perspective, and then we get to know that she's not as cold as people think she is. She's highly observant of Seulgi, and she felt a sense of loss when Seulgi didn't do what she usually did. With Joohyun's POV, I can understand her character much better.
Thank goodness Joohyun met Seungwan. I can't imagine if she hadn't. She would probably still be lost as to why Seulgi's distanced herself from Joohyun, especially since Seulgi's not one who would voice out her feelings when it comes to Joohyun. It's nice to see Joohyun's take on relationships and love alongside her career. I love how she treasures the smallest things about Seulgi and her realisation of the weight of being left behind by Seulgi.
Aww Joohyun came to celebrate Seulgi's birthday despite the cold weather~ It's so interesting to see Joohyun being the one who's pushing for the relationship. Whatever she told Seulgi was just so raw and the words really came from the depths of her heart. The part where Seulgi said 'I love you too' and then Joohyun said she knows and she promised to say it more :')
I think what I enjoyed seeing in this story is the differences between Seulgi and Joohyun, be it in terms of their personalities and their age, yet Seulgi, being so understanding, tries to adjust to Joohyun, and vice versa later on as the story progressed. Great last paragraph going back to the title of the story! It's true that communication is important in a relationship.
