Chapter 24: Oof that comment about our generation losing the ability to communicate with each other and come to a solution together is so true. In my creative writing class(we had an open discussion ti brainstorm), a kid asked if whether we thought racism will exist in the future or will the definition of racism simply evolve into another definition. The kid next to me just completely cut him off and said he didnt want to talk about it. Yes i see how politics doesnt really need to be talked about in a creative writing class but The kid next to me was extremely rude. Things like this happen all the time. There is always one person saying "nope. Im not gonna talk about it. Move on. Nope." i wish i had the guts to say what yixing said and let them have a small discussion because it really is important for students to develop skills like listening to other opinions, seeing their side, learning to defend your beliefs and find flaws in your reasoning and use it to better your reasoning for believing what you believe in. Korey you are amazing (especially if you could understand what i just wrote. I have a concussion and shouldnt be reading more than 15min but im bored)
