Chapter 45: Ooh, Mira's thoughts on the Darkling are definitely interesting and bring another layer to the conflict that I hadn't considered before. :O The implication that he DIDN'T kill Life has me asking so many more questions and I'm wondering if I should be hating the Darkling as much as everyone else does now. OTL Because there's probably a much deeper reason for him to seek out Mira so vehemently, especially knowing that she is the new incarnation of Life. And there's still the name link mystery between Kai and the Darkling. >___< SO MANY QUESTIONS AHHHHH !!
And I'm also super curious about Kai and Jimin's alleged feud. :O Considering Mira and Jimin are now friends, in a way, any frostiness between Kai and Jimin has gotta be awkward for her, especially since Kai is her boyfriend. Jealousy, in general, from a significant other makes any situation more awkward and kind of uncomfortable, but I guess Kai has his reasons for acting the way he does towards Jimin and hopefully Mira can find out what those reasons are. >___< It feels like there's always something deeper when it comes to Kai. ^^;
Chapter 45: ooh a good chapter that was released a couple of days that i finally got to today!!
i think it's due to the combination of the excitement of waiting for my chapters and the more peaceful chapters that i'm looking forward to action. i'm curious how exactly mirae, kai, and the others or the darkling are going to attack each other and who's going to be making the first move. (it would probably be the darkling anyway, because that unpredictable person). there's also jimin and kai's rivalry and i'm interested to know more about it. :))
thank you for writing and updating! i hope you have a great week!!
Chapter 45: Hmmmmm. Could it be that the darkling didn't actually kill Life? Maybe he is actually from the past....or kai is his son ..... or he killed life by accident which made him death . May be he didn't knoe he was death untill then ....hmmm interesting
Chapter 45: Love this chapter so much! A jealous Kai is always welcome. Mira's budding friendship with jimin is becoming more entertaining and I can't wait for more interactions in the coming future. Will there perhaps be some feelings involve? Only time will tell hahah.. I actually do like Jimin and Mira's relationship as Jimin seems more open and honest when talking with Mira.. I actually adore him a lot :') Kai seems pretty tense lately and hopefully he'll still let Mira enjoy her day as much as she possibly can with restricted movements.. Hopefully she won't feel suffocated. Thank you so much for this update ^^
Chapter 45: OHMYGOODNESSSSSKSSKSKSKKSKS, you know I really like that bit on what Mira said about thinking about someone as something when they're not what we think they are. If this was actually a published book, I'd highlight that. But anyways, I'm looking forward to think that is the case for the Darkling. It wouldn't make Life's notorious death seem black and white, you know? No one knows what happened and it just makes sense that there was just more to it, of course.
And do I sense a tinge of jealousy and protectiveness from Kai hmmMMMMmMMM????? xD
Chapter 44: i find it really sweet that mirae has thoughts of kai even when she's talking to jimin. #shipissailing
go mirae! it's b.a. that she's training with knives and getting a hand on it thanks to jimin. this chapter was nice to see that they have a chance at getting a long wtih each other. on that note, i'm looking forward to their relationship becoming stronger as friends rather than enemies. thank you for writing! :)
Chapter 44: Awww, I really enjoyed this chapter!! ^^ It was so refreshing to have some bonding between Mira and Jimin, given their history throughout the course of the story so far, and their banter was so much fun to read!! :) And I liked when Jimin explained why he was so mean and rude to Mira back then, since his reasons were understandable, even though they don't necessarily excuse his behavior. People get jealous and frustrated of others, and it can be upsetting to realize that all of your hard work may never measure up to natural gifts. And when that person with the natural gifts supposedly isn't living up to their potential (based off of the expectations in your head, which are probably higher than usual), it makes you feel even more upset that this potential is seemingly wasted on someone who doesn't look like they're putting in much effort at all. And that can come off as an insult to your lifelong hard work.
I'm glad that Jimin recognized how he was feeling and learned that Mira isn't really the one to blame. She's having a hard time adjusting to a whole new world while also shouldering IMMENSE responsibilities that were suddenly given to her, and that's not even accounting for how dangerous and life-threatening the whole situation is. She's doing a really good job trying to learn as much as she can in a short amount of time and figuring out how she fits into the puzzle. And like Jimin realized, power isn't all that it's cracked up to be. His maturation into a more understanding, empathetic individual from the short-tempered, aggressive boy he used to be has really shot him up on my list of favorite characters and I hope his friendship with Mira continues to develop!! :D
