What's your native language?

Here's so much international people I'm curious to know what's your native language! I am Finnish and surprisingly, I speak Finnish. Would you guys be interested reading a fic in your native language? (If Finnish people said yes then congrats, during the summer I might either translate one of my fics to Finnish OR write completely new one in Finnish only)

Also, have you published stuff in your native language (if other than English) and if you have, what have you published?

I'm also from Germany~~ :)
Honestly, I love writing stories in German and I've done it for nearly ten years since I started at a very young age but I've never published a kpop fanfic in German cause I've experienced that 99% of German fanfics are sooo lousy... (regarding their writing style and maturity)
Added to that, a lot of German kpop fans are ARMYs or Exo-Ls and I'm neither of them. :/

I am from El Salvador and I am a native Spanish speaker, I am honestly not that interested in stuff written in Spanish coz it is so so different, I guess I just grew fond of stuff in English and I like it better now.

My native language for me is Malay since i'm from Malaysia. I'll do speak well in English & known a few of Mandarin language too. Well i'll do read some fic in native language since it's quite ok for me

Mine is Tagalog and N O, I won't read a story in my own native language I have seen all of the written fiction in my native language... Modern literature in Tagalog these days are just "meh" so I prefer writing in English.

So many Germans saying they cringe reading/writing fics in German - same here, honestly. For some reason there is a separation for me, it would even feel awkward talking about kpop in German because I'm just too used to all the vocabulary in English and can't really translate it. My daily life is in German, my thoughts jump around between English and the occasional German or French but the internet belongs to the realm of English.

@alammonayan Hey, fellow Filipino. I'd just like to clear things up. Filipino is the native and only language here in our country. Tagalog is merely a dialect among hundreds in the Philippines. Language does not equate to dialect. :)

I'm Italian, currently learning Chinese and living in Beijing for one year! ;)
I've written some original stories in Italian during High School and I've posted them on an Italian fanfics' site. They weren't really good though. xD

Im a Filipino/Pilipino and the main language that is used in the philippines is tagalog bc theres a lot of language in the philippines but filipino/pilipino term can also be used as the term that filipinos/pilipinos used as a general term for its language... xD is it difficult to understand?

Filipino/Pilipino = the people in the philippines or the term that is used being the general language in the philippines... hahaha

Greek is not on the list :P My native language is Greek but since I'm half Greek, half Russian, I grew up speaking both fluently. I used to write fanfics/stories in Greek back when, but now they are mostly in English since it's easier for me.

I've never written in my native language I guess because I'm living in Canada so I got used to using only French & English sometimes Spanish too, but I am fluent in Arabic too which is my native language
