Taemin, who's a new kid, finds it hard to make friends in school and gets bullied a lot.  Then, he meets Shin Hye, a confident high school student who protects him and eventually becomes his friend along with her brother Sung Yeon.  Taemin eventually falls in love with his noona but doesn't know how to confess to her.
