Additional Sidenote:

A little update to my main post:

Someone messaged me after reading my blog, asking if I was going to update my stories. That is an excellent question. I figured I should probably address that here for everyone in case others are wondering the same thing.

The short version of my answer for now is: I have no idea if and or when I will update the unfinished WIPs I have.

This includes works like Bloom and Grow, I Am a Part of All I Have Read, etc. I know so many of you have been waiting for updates on these stories, but the truth is I just simply don’t know where to go with most if not all of these unfinished stories. I hate to let so many people down, but I feel if I pursue finishing these stories right now, I won’t be able to come up with any great ideas on how to end what I started. I hit a slump with these fics and wasn't feeling too creative on how to develop them. I know this . I apologize for anyone who’s super disappointed by my answer.

What I will say is that with what I'm working on now, I feel much better about my creative process and the work I'm putting into my stories. I feel good. I feel proud of what I've written so far. Maybe in the future, further down the line, I'll get back to my unfinished stories. But for now, the disconnection and discomfort I feel when thinking about those unfinished works remains. Any sort of updates on them will come once I feel better about my work and reorient myself with writing, posting, and updating stories on AFF and Ao3 again.

I do not have the competency to critic your works, but for sure I enjoy reading them and you are one of my favorites. I admire the continuous improvement attitude and it inspires me to think and work on my own needed improvements. I will respectfully wait and cheer for a better smiley-seulgi 😊

Sounds good, best thing that I follow is plotting backwards. Start with where you want your story to end and work to the beginning. It really helps with implementing motifs, story consistency etc. However, there are so many great plot outlines that you don’t have to do what I told you to at all! Just what works best for you.

I have a PDF copy of a guided plan on how to write a III act 24 chapter novel I could share to anyone interested.

I think it’s admirable that you want to improve yourself, and has mapped out a plan.

Go for it! Will look forward to the new stories
