1. How long have you been designing?

I was interested in web designing in 2012. It was when I discovered wattpad authors create their own weebly website. And I always find it so interesting. I think that's what brought me to wattpad. I saw my sister on some wattpad author's weebly page.

I offered my novice skills to Nevermore (now CLUB X) in Nov 2015. Then I opened my layout gallery in 2016

2. What do you use to code?

I hate coding in the AFF editor. Idk how some of the best layout coders (aka aleric) do it. He said he does his layouts on AFF editor. I can't--

I use Sublime text before, now I use Visual Studio Code (since I use this for other projects as well). I'm too lazy to close tags, I let them do it for me.

3. What's your first ever layout? What's your latest layout?

Hoho good thing I have a hidden archive here where I store unnecessary craps

4. Which themes are your strengths?

Uhmm.... I like blacks. I also like to look kinda different huhu. My thick faced self likes to claim on her layout gallery that "Unique designs can be found here." (it was literally written on one of my revamps.) Before I forgot-- I also really like full screen layouts. But we can't do that anymore, at least on the foreword. They updated AFF scripts. I mean, I haven't really looked into it >:]]]

5. Which theme are your weaknesses?

I can't seem to do tiny and pastel layouts. Also I tried doing layouts you see here and there, but I never got to finish one---I get lazy

6. What's your design style?

BIG

7. Do you own a layout shop?

JAECOMPONENTS (and JAEPERBACK). Not exactly a layout shop since I don't take requests. I like to think it's more of a gallery.

 

8. Do you work for a layout shop?

Never. My time is very divided hahaha. It was an honor, though, when I was one of vigour's guest coders on her TRXSH event HEHEHE 

9. Are there any coders you look up to?

I also want to use the "THE ONE. THE ONLY" for my senpai VEELAH!!!! I link her profile because she deserves all of the recognition! She's the founder of mobile layouts here on AFF (imo aight). And I'm so glad I get to converse with her when she was still active <3333 She also gave me a very very helpful tip for me to achieve my controversial layouts. Lovely and HUMBLE(!!) person

AND I'M ABSOLUTELY HONORED to get her poster done for her story. She said it was her first time requesting from someone. 

ok fine. I'm a total fangirl of Veelah. woot woot. She can also do everything--from stories, to layouts, to graphics, and trailers :)))))))

I'm also all for Alec's (aleric) layouts because they're so unique on its own. He really owns his layouts. And when he and Dee (d-tsuga) collab--it's a whole new world. They're both amazing. And Vera (vigour) is my first love here on AFF, she's amazing and really talented. 

10. What's your favourite layout to date?

For JaeComponents -- this is my favorite

11. What's your least favourite layout to date?
lol Photographer without a doubt. My love for Jay Alvarrez back then was unparalleled, I had to make a layout for him---but i failed him
 

12. How long does it usually take for you to finish a layout?

I think it's a miscoception that layouts take a long time to finish(????? or is it just me). Sometimes, making posters is much longer. I finished my latest layout within 1.5 hrs. 

Also I remember having people asking me how long I finished bat pictures' layout. I did it within 4 days and I still have school that time (I'm surprised as well, don't get me wrong). I finished Squad Pictures and Game of Forms layout within a day or two. But I was very driven that time (love and admiration can take you far haha) so yeah--that's definitely a factor

14. Are your layouts priced?

Before when I was active, yes! haha bc i'm greedyyyyyy. My chapter layouts are still priced bc you can use it to lot of your stories. And my designs is something I would use, and I like it looking simple but nice. So 3-7kp wouldn't hurt.

BTW grab them story layouts while they're still free bc I'll be charging them once I get time. BECAUSE i found an way to transact KPs without you and me interacting. >:)))))) I'm just too lazy to implement it yet. hoho

15. Do you do mobile friendly? How did you learn?

I do. Through my senpai, veelah, ofc who else? haha I learned through our convo about AFF scripts. And as a student developer that time--I felt stupid, why didn't I think of that!? She's a freaking genius! I mean as a computer science student that time--we're not 'trained' to do websites, we're much more of a algorithm, desktop, and mobile developers. But because of her discovery, I was able to learn bootstrap/gridding system very smoothly--this is something used for actual websites for it to be responsive/mobile friendly.
