growing up, juwon was always interested in fashion, however, she doesn't have a certain type of fashion taste that she follows on a daily basis. she usually bases her fashion off of what she sees on the streets or in magazines, but she buys a good 90% of it online because she says it's easier to find the "best clothes". usually, she wears clothes that aren't too revealing, like a normal t-shirt or sweater with denim jeans. some of the clothing she wears can be a bit showy, but she makes sure she has something to cover up or reveals only a small amount of skin. juwon prefers clothing that's comfortable to her, so she prefers it to be loose. yes, her clothing sense doesn't make sense in words, but look wise, it's reasonable.
as for accessories, juwon is most into caps and flower crowns. it's a weird combination to like in accessories, but juwon can suddenly go from being a total boy to a total cutie with just a simple choice in accessory. usually, she ends up wearing flower crowns when there's fanmeetings since many of her fans would bring her flower crowns. she also has her glasses due to her nearsightedness, however she'll only wear it at home or when she's not promoting.

more than it looks
BACKGROUND ☆
juwon was the first born in the jeon family of miryang, south korea. her younger brother, howon, followed suit in exactly two years (emphasis on exactly because they share the same birthday, just different years). ever since her brother was born, juwon had always known the two would get along well. when howon was able to walk, juwon was finally able to spend quality bonding time with him, which she cherished with all her heart. at that time, juwon was only four by that time, but she felt exceptionally older than him. juwon felt like she was taking care of her own child; a weird thing to think about at the age of four, but that's what she thought. her parents were always busy with work, so they would tend to be brought to their neighbors often until her parents had completed their seperate days. because of this, juwon had always taken care of howon until he was old enough to talk. it wasn't something that was difficult to do, but it was something that juwon disliked about her parents. the fact that they never took time off from work to spend with their children was quite saddening, but juwon couldn't do anything about it.
skip ahead to 2000, and juwon found a love for ice skating at the young age of six. how? her parents had finally taken time off their schedules to do something together as a family. it was the winter, so they chose to go ice skating. howon, however, was too young to skate so he would just sit with their mother in the stands while juwon spent that wintry day skating with her father. juwon was a quick learner at such a young age, especially towards something that was as difficult as skating. that's when her parents realized that juwon would become something big; something huge with skating.
skip ahead to 2005, and juwon was already at the top of her game for ice skating. from the ages of eight and on she began to enter competitions and won almost every single one she entered in (with the exception of one or two due to being sick and stumbling a few times). juwon knew that she wanted to do skating as an occupation; it was something that she loved and made her parents proud. they had even taken time off their busy schedules to watch her compete and skate her heart out. her brother, who at the time was around six, would cheer her sister on. however, at the age of eleven (2005), she got into kpop. how? she was watching a music show where she saw boa dancing to one of her songs. she thought it was a thrilling sight to see; people cheering for you while you dance your heart away. howon, who at the time was nine, had even seen the thrill in it as well. ever since that day, howon had began taking dancing classes and even began to self-teach himself to rap before getting a professional. juwon, on the other hand, began to self-teach herself ballet. why ballet? because she had asked her skating coach as to what type of dance is easiest to learn and she replied with "ballet". it wasn't something like boa, but she loved teaching herself how to do ballet. once she was twelve (2006), her parents were able to send her to get professional ballet training while her brother would be right next door learning the basics of hiphop and r&b.
skip ahead a few more years to 2010 (age: sixteen) and juwon continued to win more competitions for ice skating. however, on the side, she was always doing ballet recitals. she was top of her ballet class and was able to gain a few leads in every other recital. of course, this was a lot of work, but she did her very best to execute everything with 110% efforts. around this time, howon, who was around fourteen/fifteen, had already gone to audition for a company. he would later come home with good news of being accepted, however that would mean he would have to make the trip back and forth just to train. juwon was, of course, upset over the fact that her brother was leaving to train, but she was also happy for him since he was finally going to do what he loved as a child. juwon, on the other hand, was still busy with skating and ballet, even being asked if she wanted to join the korean team for the 2010 ice skating team (although she declined due to school). but then, suddenly, something exciting happened that changed juwon's life forever.
when she was leaving her ballet recital, she was scouted by bighit for her dancing abilities. at the time, she knew of bighit through her brother who was searching up different companies to audition for, but she had serious questions for the person. bighit was known for its hiphop and swag, which is something that juwon was never trained to do. juwon was more of a classical person with ballet and skating. she thought that it was all a joke, but the person from bihit assured her that he was asking her due to how she executes her dances rather than what she dances. she was told that she can take all the time she wants to decide whether or not she wanted to join, so she had gone home that day to think of her decision.
after a few weeks of thinking, juwon decided to take up the offer and went with her brother to seoul. juwon knew that she would have a hard time in adjusting to the atmosphere of the company since she was nowhere near hiphop and swag, but she knew that she could trust them since she was someone who was a quick learner. besides, they scouted her because of how she executes dances, not what she dances. when she got there, she was greeted by the one who scouted her, and from then on, she was able to train with bighit. as she thought, it was hard to adjust to the company, but she was able to learn how to sing for the first time (getting compliments on even her first day by the vocal teacher who said that she "sang fairly well for someone who never sang once in her life") and she was able to gradually learn hiphop by the dance teacher. she tried rapping once, but she was lacking so they knew she was destined to be more of a vocalist than a rapper.
alongside training, she took days off from training in order to go back to her roots of ice skating. she continued to compete, of course, but she completely dropped ballet due to her schedule being too busy due to training from the afternoons to nights. in 2014 she was asked, again, if she wanted to compete for the winter olympics and she accepted. however, weeks before she was supposed to leave, she had gotten an ankle injury from training, causing her to drop her name from the national team for the second time. that's when she realized that maybe she took training more seriously than ice skating. at that moment, she never went back to compete for ice skating (she did ice skate every now and then when she's free) and just continued to focus more on training, something she never thought she'd do ever since she entered the company.

skip ahead a few more years to 2010 (age: sixteen) and juwon continued to win more competitions for ice skating. however, on the side, she was always doing ballet recitals. she was top of her ballet class and was able to gain a few leads in every other recital. of course, this was a lot of work, but she did her very best to execute everything with 110% efforts. around this time, howon, who was around fourteen/fifteen, had already gone to audition for a company. he would later come home with good news of being accepted, however that would mean he would have to make the trip back and forth just to train. juwon was, of course, upset over the fact that her brother was leaving to train, but she was also happy for him since he was finally going to do what he loved as a child. juwon, on the other hand, was still busy with skating and ballet, even being asked if she wanted to join the korean team for the 2010 ice skating team (although she declined due to school). but then, suddenly, something exciting happened that changed juwon's life forever.
when she was leaving her ballet recital, she was scouted by bighit for her dancing abilities. at the time, she knew of bighit through her brother who was searching up different companies to audition for, but she had serious questions for the person. bighit was known for its hiphop and swag, which is something that juwon was never trained to do. juwon was more of a classical person with ballet and skating. she thought that it was all a joke, but the person from bihit assured her that he was asking her due to how she executes her dances rather than what she dances. she was told that she can take all the time she wants to decide whether or not she wanted to join, so she had gone home that day to think of her decision.
after a few weeks of thinking, juwon decided to take up the offer and went with her brother to seoul. juwon knew that she would have a hard time in adjusting to the atmosphere of the company since she was nowhere near hiphop and swag, but she knew that she could trust them since she was someone who was a quick learner. besides, they scouted her because of how she executes dances, not what she dances. when she got there, she was greeted by the one who scouted her, and from then on, she was able to train with bighit. as she thought, it was hard to adjust to the company, but she was able to learn how to sing for the first time (getting compliments on even her first day by the vocal teacher who said that she "sang fairly well for someone who never sang once in her life") and she was able to gradually learn hiphop by the dance teacher. she tried rapping once, but she was lacking so they knew she was destined to be more of a vocalist than a rapper.
alongside training, she took days off from training in order to go back to her roots of ice skating. she continued to compete, of course, but she completely dropped ballet due to her schedule being too busy due to training from the afternoons to nights. in 2014 she was asked, again, if she wanted to compete for the winter olympics and she accepted. however, weeks before she was supposed to leave, she had gotten an ankle injury from training, causing her to drop her name from the national team for the second time. that's when she realized that maybe she took training more seriously than ice skating. at that moment, she never went back to compete for ice skating (she did ice skate every now and then when she's free) and just continued to focus more on training, something she never thought she'd do ever since she entered the company.

« younger brother, "big, little brother" » jeon howon, 전호원 ☆ 20 (21 in korea) ☆ trainee in starship, university student (snu) ☆ protective, hardworking, goofy; reserved, quiet, shy at times ☆ unlike most brothers and sisters, these two rarely fight. when they do fight, however, it's over the pettiest of things like what toy was their's when they were kids or which parent loved them most when they were adults. yeah. they had those kinds of fights. however, when they would fight, they would always somehow make up in the end. when they meet, it's always the sweetest thing. since juwon is completely shorter than howon, the younger would always help juwon when they meet, be it getting down stairs or encouraging each other. people who see the two would immediately think they're twins, however, juwon is significantly older by exactly two years. despite the two year , juwon is somehow seen as the 'younger sibling' when she's not. it's not because she's shorter and more petite, but because howon is slightly more mature when it comes to their personalities. this causes juwon to be called the "little, big sister" by howon and in return, he would be called "big, little brother" by her. when they know they can't meet in person, they always contact each other either through text. — fc: svt's wonwoo

« trainee friend, "1 to 9" » jung hoseok/jhope, 정호석/제이홉 ☆ 22 (23 in korea) ☆ idol, bts ☆ outgoing, caring, loyal; emotional at times, unexpectedly can be timid, ridiculous sometimes ☆ jhope and juwon knew each other ever since they were trainees, and since then, they've been contacting each other often. they always meet up at their company's dance studio with a few of their other members just to dance the day/night away. when it's just juwon and jhope, however, it's the most chaotic scene ever. because of jhope's outgoing nature and juwon's energy skyrocketing, they're always loud and obnoxious together. but their members know that they mean well and are far from being obnoxious. they always support and cheer each other on, and they vowed since they were trainees to always have each others' backs no matter what happens.
