Hana was born in 2003 to a upper middle class couple living in Japan. Although she was a shy child, she started to like idols a lot since a young age. Hoping to help boost her confidence, her parents enrolled her in dance lessons.
When she was a teenager, Hana became interested in the gyaru subculture, and applied to be a model for the popular magazine Egg. It was also then that she became interested in Kpop after coming across Loona's MVs on Youtube. After finishing high school, Hana auditioned for BBC and was accepted as a trainee, however she left the company after 2 years.
