Saerom was born into a multi-lingual family and because of this, she started learnig english from a young age.
Was sent to international school from kindergarten.
The thought of being an idol never crossed her mind. Her dream was to move over seas and become a kindergarten teacher.
When she was in high school, Saerom got the chance to finally travle overseas. She went to study for a year in Melbourne, Australia.
While in Australia, she became close with her host families daughter (Sage) who was a huge fan of KPOP.
After moving back to Korea, Saerom was approched by a staff member of Dal Media and asked to audition.
She wasn't sure if she wanted to audition but with a push from her friend, Mia who told her her older sister had also auditiond for Dal Media, she decided she would give it a chance.
Shockingly to Saerom she passed the audition and became a trainee under dal media in 2014.
