appearance. from distance, mina appears to be tall especially when she wears hot pants or skirt, revealing her model long and slim legs which makes her appear tall. but when she is standing close to her brother, you'll see her like those typical petite and cute girls. however, her brother said she is a little bit too tall for her age, THAT'S WHY HE CALL HER GIANT punk.
she has almost similar facial features with her sister, especially with no makeup. mino said they resembles their father. she has oval-ish face, full lips, slightly big eyes and light brown long hair which was originally black. although she loves food, she easily gain weight thanks to work out for helping her burning her calories.

:: mina is very ambitious, she wants to reach her dream of being a successful entertainer. she will do anything to make it come true, including working hard until late night, or at least until everything looks perfect to her. she also will ask for advices from her brother, sister and seniors if necessary to give her additional support and help.

background.
mina was born and raised in yongin with an average income family consisting of her parents and two older siblings, mino from winner and dana. good genes and entertain skill runs through her family blood. unlike her brother and sister who like to rap, she showed a great amount of interest for singing more than rapping. she attended hanlim multi arts school with both her siblings and pursuing her dream by joining singing classes and competitions therein. this was fully supported by her family. she also receives a lot of compliments from her friends and family due to her singing talent. she tried auditioning in jyp entertainment once in 2009, but her parents disapproved with her young age as a reason.
in the middle of 2012, she heard yg entertainment was opening an audition and because she wants to pursue her dream of becoming a singer, she eventually auditioned with the support of her siblings and surprisingly got accepted as a trainee because she touched yg sajangnim with her golden voice. she told her parents about this with her deepest heart, and they have no other choice but to let her choose what's the best for herself.
she worked hard and was optimistic about her future career in yge. she showed sajangnim how serious she was in becoming an entertainer in hopes he would debut her very soon. her trainee years got interesting when her brother also entered as a yg trainee in 2013, which means she has the chance to have a project with him soon after both debuts. when he started staring yg reality program, who is next, she showed so many great supports in each missions that his team had to do and was happy when his team won over their rival group in the end of the program. she posted a lot of happy posts in her media social accounts when her brother debuted with his group.
when ikon, previously named team b who were the rival group from who is next program, was preparing for their debut - she was picked along with six other female trainees by yg sajangnim for his newest project in forming a girlgroup called witchez which will debut in 2015. hearing this, she was excited and grateful because yg finally made her dream come true.

    mina and bobby are close friends since she entered yge, they first talked when he accidentally bumped her in the hallway. they are sibling figures for eachother and often do sharing about life, love and stuff. when she is picked as a model for hishyun mv, bobby showed how close they were behind the scenes. he often came to visit her during her practices with junhoe, jinhwan and b.i who are also close to her.

      while jinwoo approaches danah, taehyun choose to approach the younger sister. at first it was a joke to irritate mino, but soon mina and taehyun formed a close friendship people never have imagined. he treated her like a special dongsaeng and often asked her to hang out together when she had no schedule. he also gave a few advices and comments about her and her group as a little evaluation from his perspective, which is quite helpful.

      they first met on gayo daejun backstage, mino introduced her to him and told him she would always come to support him in almost every shows he was in. jackson heard of her, but had never talk to her personally like that. after gayo daejun, since he has got her contact, he started to text or call her just to talk during free times. he gave her a great amount of support for her upcoming debut.

      When mina was a jyp trainee, she likes to stick with suzy because she is the first one to greet her and make friends with her. they cared for eachother and helpful as well. although she left jyp early, she still contact suzy often through text or media socials. sometimes during special occasions, she'd visit suzy just like suzy would visit her during practice/relaxation. suzy admitted she could impersonate her quite well on an interview.

       mina loves dog. so when she sees jjanggu, kai's dog, near the ice cream store she stopped by that moment, she quickly knelt down and played a little with jjanggu until someone came and said "aigoo, jjanggu!" which made her look up and surprised to see exo's kai. they started becoming friends, visiting each other and supported eachother since then - and he promised to support her for her upcoming debut.

at first glance, junhoe looks like he has ignorant and dismissive attitude. he gives cool aura to the people around him especially girls, because he thinks it will receive immediate attraction to them. but once you get to know him better, he is a completely different person. despite his sassy attitude, he is fun, kind and caring.
his fun side is the best - if you ask him to play games, he'd happily join you although he will still have his sassy attitude with him and insult you playfully with his sharp tongues. basically, he knows how to have fun. he is also kind and caring, trust me, you won't regret getting him in these two sides. he will care deeply about you and be your best company when you need him to be.

junhoe first joined yge in 2012 although he used to audition for it when he was in sixth graders. he was one of kpop stars contenstants when he was younger to pursue his dream. he is a workaholic when he is passionate about his job, he is willing to work all day to get good result. and now that he is an idol, he works harder despite the frequent tired feeling he felt. Because he knew if he gives up now, all his struggles during trainee years will be nothing and he will hate himself if he gives up for it. junhoe is also a jealous man, when someone he feels attracted to is flirting with someone, he will talk with his sharp tongus and behaved as sassy as possible toward them, showing the obvious jealousy with no shame.
how you met.
junhoe first saw her when she was in the corner of the trainee room, sitting against a wall and listening to music with closed eyes. it caught his interest without himself knowing, but he barely had the courage to talk to her yet. so he only stole a few glances whenever she was around. when he was told that he was picked to star a survival reality program, he was surprised that a rapper from team a, his rival group, is the brother of mina. a few weeks later, he was walking upstairs and so did she. she was in front of her, and when her friend called from the top of the stairs, she slipped when she looked up. luckily he got her, and they started to become good friends since then.
interactions.
like stated above, junhoe likes to give his cool aura to the girls with a thought it will catch their immediate attraction or interest. but mina was the only one who doesn't accept it, and ignores him which makes him interested to know her more. after they met and talk, both often hangs out with him under his requests. he did them in order to get closer to her - and it worked. they started texting and calling eachother, blushing when their friends tease them and tell jokes to one another.
junhoe is like her mother - nagging at her when she is late eating or doesn't want to sleep, giving her a threat like "i'll come over if you don't go to sleep" which makes her smile to herself. she enjoys having him around and thankful that he is there for her. growing closer, they started becoming sassy to one another but only mina is acting bossy toward him. this makes him feel a lot more attached to her, and starts showing his admiration with a few obvious and flirty actions.
he also likes to visit her during practices and distracts her, and sometimes telling her that she's in singing and dancing in jokingly mocking manner to irritate her. she replied with rolling her eyes, telling that he is a lot more and pushes him away. those were their interactions in public. but when they're alone, they will be serious and she will be a little playful to irritate him. they will have playful fights when necessary. and there, they started liking eachother more than just friends although they haven't date yet because they are afraid of yg sajangnim. however, they already starts to act like couple a few times in public.
