Appearance: Standing at 169cm, and weighing in with the slight weight of 53kg, the main reason why Sae Yuseong is categorised as 'lightweight' is the fact that she's an upcoming idol, and we all know that kpop idols have to keep up their slim weights, amiright? Two more minor reasons are; fast metabolism and a love for sports. Its funny, though, since her pale skin doesn't really reflect her athleticness. Instead, it gives off the feel of someone who'd rather stay inside, away from the sun. But what can we do? Yuseong has naturally pale skin. Her hair and eyes are the exact same shade of dark brown, but they often appear darker than they already are, due to her very light skin. Its humorous, actually. Sometimes, with just the right lighting, if Yuseong is placed against a white wall and is wearing all-white clothes, it'll look like her hair, eyes, lips and nostrils are just floating in mid air. Oh, on to those lips of hers. Not particularly thick and lucious like f(x)'s Sulli's, they aren't really thin but cute like Girl's Day's Minah, either. Instead, though they lean more towards the thin side, you won't even think about them when you see her bright smile. She's been told to smile big, since her lips aren't too thick. It works for her that way. Oh, and, yes, I know lots of applicants like to add that their characters have dimples, but I'm telling the truth! Yuseong, too is one of those with deep dimples. Actually, you could say that they're more like creases in her cheeks because they're that deep, but what the heck. They're still dimples.

Style: Yuseong has a very plain way of dressing up. Her clothes swing more towards the coloured t-shirts, usually with a band logo on them, matched with colourful jean-shorts that just reach her knees. Her winter attire is basically the same as her summer, but with the addition of a floor-lengthed coat. She wears painfully bright clothes, but thats just the way she rolls. Nothing much stands out in her wardrobe, simply because they're all so bright and they take the attention off each other. Airport fashion, training attire, winter + summer clothes, you name it, they're all bright. Yuseong is a very bright dresser and doesn't necessarily like duller clothes, but she will willingly/reluctantly wear whatever her stylist picks out for her.

Training Years: 3 years under JYP Entertainment
Trainee Life: There was nothing particularly outstanding to speak about in regards to Sae Yuseong's trainee life. She obeyed her instructors, practised endlessly, always put in 200% effort and was friendly with everyone. Actually, there was this one time, when she and her best friend, Kim Minni were practising together, and when they finished, began to spray deoderant on themselves. And it was then when Minni decided to spray some of her own onto Yuseong. And when I say some, I mean a lot. She just held onto the button and heaps came out onto Yuseong. Yuseong, playfully wanting revenge, sprayed her own onto Minni. Then, before they knew it, they were chasing each other around the room. Unfortunately, the door was shut, since they wanted privacy while practising, and the room was now filled with intoxicating deoderant. Tired from practising and then chasing each other, they literally had to crawl towards the door to be able to take a gulp of fresh air. Sadly, they never made it and both ended up fainting in the room, since all they had to breathe was deoderant, which isn't exactly good for you if you inhale it directly or it surrounds you completely so you have no choice to breathe it in. They were found the next morning by trainees who had booked that training room. Instantly, those trainees grabbed nurses or whoever they could find, to help Minni and Yuseong. After the two had recovered from their mini faint, they were very much scolded by instructors. From then on, for about two days anyway, the 'deoderant incident' was a hot topic and both girls were mildly famous amongst the trainees.

Lets start off by introducing Yuseong's laugh. Its the perfect combination of IU's, SNSD's Taeyeon and Girl's Day's Yura. A very bad combination, actually, since it's quite contagious, hilarious and most definitely loud. This laugh will come out at any given time, so beware. Now, on to her personality. The most noticeable trait of Sae Yuseong's is probably her endless amount of energy. It just keeps flowing and flowing and never disappears. God, it could be about 2am in the morning and still, Yuseong would be really hyperactive. I find it a good thing, though, that she's so energetic. which is why i put it as a positive trait. She could very well be the vitamin of the group, lending, but not actually lending since its unlimited, her energy to others and making people feel not tired. She's often the reason why people don't tire out and she loves that she can easily bring out determined smiles on people's faces. Her extremely energetic spirit actually instantly leads to her shameless ways. Being the hyperactive girl she is, she'll just let herself run loose, without restraints, and not care about who may see her being ridiculous. A bit like Apink's Bomi or Girl's Day's Hyeri, she doesn't really care where she is, and just acts freely, not thinking about what she would be doing. Like, the group would be getting interviewed and Yuseong, completely out of nowhere, would just start shaking her body or whipping her hair back and forth. Call it being rude if you like, but I think its her shameless attitude. She'll willingly do what an emcee wants her to do, and, if you were to ever bring her onto Weekly Idol, I'll have you note that she'd be one of Doni + Coni's favourites, seeing as she'll join in with their gags, try anything they ask her to try, and be as random as they are. She is a right-old psycho, I'd say.

Her friendly attitude is what people would love most about her. She'll talk to absolutely everybody, no matter what colour, size, race or shape. She's a sweet girl, really, and you get that pinned down about her the instant she just runs up to you to talk. Her friendly spirit, though a really well-loved trait, as easily as she speaks to someone, could instantly turn into just being plain reckless and impulsive. I'm being honest, here. Yuseong talks to everybody, including potential thiefs or rapists. It just doesn't click in her mind that people aren't as easy-going or good-hearted or friendly as her. It just doesn't occur to her that her good attitude could be a disadvantage for her and quite possibly turn her into an easy target for someone to mug. She will literally just run up to anybody that, even as an act to trick naive people like her, looks sad, injured, ill or looks like they need help. Yes, she's dirty-minded (which we'll get onto later), but if used in this context, dirty-minded and naive are two traits that actually fit together, despite actually contradicting each other. How can you be dirty-minded but innocent, right? Well, it works for Yuseong. Yes, she twists things to sound disgusting and wrong, or will laugh at impure jokes, but she has a gullible heart, which is what we'll use as the definition for naive, in this case. Yuseong is a reckless girl, which I've basically hinted a lot throughout this whole paragraph. Her shameless side coming into play, she really doesn't care about a thing in the world, and will often be too bold with her actions, as shown when she just talks to any random stranger that she finds. Being reckless is not a good thing, and when added in with impulsiveness, it just makes it a whole lot worse. Yuseong isn't one to think before she acts, and can easily, albeit accidentally, hurt someone's feelings if she brings out her hysterical laugh as a response as someone's insult to another person.

Yuseong is quite the witty one, often coming up with jokes and puns. They may be lame and cringey, but hey, they still count, don't they? They're often quite awful, and so horrible that you just have to laugh out of the apparent ridiculousness. Its sometimes extremely awkward, because she's not afraid to add them into her casual conversations or into other people's conversations that she was casually eavesdropping on. That's the type of girl Yuseong is. She's confident and not afraid to do what she likes. Her confidence can go both ways. Confidence is a really good trait to have, because you need to be confident to stand up for yourself and put in your own piece of mind, but there are times when Yuseong is too confident, which is why this trait has been put down as a neutral trait. Her over confidence, along with her friendliness, is what brings on her impulsiveness and recklessness nature. Its easy to understand, really. Being too confident and too friendly makes her easily and willingly walk up to random people recklessly. And, being too confident brings upon her very confident laugh which could hurt someone's feelings if what she's laughing at is targeting them, or something. You get the gist, right? Would you like me to explain her dirty-minded thoughts? Anything can send her into sniggers. Pure and innocent... lets say tourists. Pure and innocent tourists could be touring around the world, and come across the Big Banana and point it out excitedly and say "Wow! I really love the Big Banana," to which Yuseong would snicker at and laugh at since she'll be thinking that banana, in this context, meant a guy's... southern regions. I need not explain anymore, right? Its a bit cringey. And, the final trait is something that doesn't need to be elaborated upon too much. Plain and simple, when Yuseong's hyperactiveness, friendliness, impulsiveness, dirty-mindedness, and basically every other trait, get too out of hand, she becomes the most irritating person in someone's mind. And that's Sae Yuseong.

Background:

On the 31st of August, a bright summer-month, in the year 1998, Kang Jinah and Sae Hyunbin gave birth to their second beautiful baby girl, their third child, Sae Yuseong. Yuseong grew up happily. Not much to it, really. There's a relatively medium-sized between Yuseong and the twins, so both Jinah and Hyunbin often babied Yuseong more than they did their other two children. It's not like Yuseong ended up spoilt, though. Instead, she gratefully took their love and returned it by being extremely energetic and obeying their every whim. It was probably about 2007 when Yuseong took a shine to music, actually. Her older brother,  Sae Seongmin, being a typical young teenaged-boy, began to be obsessed with kpop, and had his eye on Wonder Girls in particular. He introduced kpop to his youngest sister, Yuseong, who was about eight at the time, to kpop but she really didn't understand what she was seeing. Despite having his eyes on kpop, he had other thoughts for his career and thus, turned away from it by the time he entered high school. Yuseong's older sister, Sae Seongmi, took up an instrument in the winter of '11 for the first time, wanting to be accomplished in everything. Still slightly clueless as to how the world worked at the age of 12, she wondered why both her brother and sister had their own musical phases and how they ended so abruptly. Seongmin's being kpop at age 13, and Seongmi's at 17 on musical instruments.

So, she questioned her older twin siblings. Seongmin's answer was simple. They were hot. He found out at school that all the boys were listening to kpop recently and he wanted an in as well. He wanted to be amongst the others, so he checked it out and boy was it worth it. Seongmi's, however, was about her studies. She believed that she'd be more likely to be offered a better job if she was musically-talented. It didn't work, really. Still, though, Yuseong didn't receive the answer she was looking for. So, she turned to her mother who was a music teacher. This is what she said; "They took up music for, albeit, more selfish reasons. Seongmin wanted to fit in amongst the other kids in school, while Seongmi wanted to be employed with a good job. With no actual interest in music, it wasn't long before they gave it up. Because, if you have no actual interest in a matter, it doesn't take long before you get bored, disinterested or lack the motivation to continue on. Music comes from the soul. Everyone has some, just that some have more than others. Try and listen to music for a bit. See if it appeals to you." And so she did. Yuseong instantly understood her mother's words and she herself took an immense liking to music. Kpop, especially. Listening to music through a range of genres, she loved every single bit of music in the world, whether it was traditional, pop or modern. Music became her life and soon, the thought of being able to share music to the world appealed to her a great deal. She wanted people to lighten up the way she did when she found music. So, with no actual initial training whatsoever, Yuseong auditioned for JYP Entertainment in 2012. Why JYP Entertainment? Because it was there that Wonder Girls lay and her brother's immediate love for Wonder Girls was what initially sparked the question in her mind. And, there and then, she was accepted.

The oldest in the family, Kang Jinah treats everybody like her child... Even Hyunbin. She's the most mature, patient and understanding in the family and its easily reflected in the way she treats her kids. Rather than yelling at them if they do something wrong, she'll sit them down and have a heart-felt talk with them about what they did wrong and what they'd do next time. She's such a warm-hearted lady that Hyunbin is often led to wonder what he ever did good in his past life to be able to be with a woman like her.

Personally, Yuseong was quite close with her father, Hyunbin. Seeing as both were the energetic type, they were often spotted being right old fools around the house, particularly being playful around Yuseong's mother, Jinah. Being a year older than her husband, Jinah would constantly be reigning in Hyunbin's active spirit who would then go hyperactive again whenever he saw Yuseong's smile or Seongmin and Seongmi's shake of their heads. 
❝ Older Brother ❞ Sae Seongmin / 21 / Uni Student / Relatively loud, loving
Despite being the louder twin, it wasn't like he was that much louder than Seongmi. Instead, it's only mild loudness, but compared to Seongmi's introverted-silence, it's quite loud. He's not the k-drama type of older brother who would be a right old to his younger sister, but instead, because of his five-year age difference wtih Yuseong, he dotes on her quite a bit and would give a good natured shake of his head when he saw her acting about with Hyunbin.
❝ Older Sister ❞ Sae Seongmi / 21 / Uni Student / Quiet, studious
Now this girl is one to ignore her family in favour of her studies. Always dreaming of becoming a doctor, this one is the typical older sister who thinks of her siblings as nuisances. Best described as a tsundere, both her brother and sister tease or pull her hair in the hopes that she'll talk. She really is loving, though, and is probably the most loyal of the siblings, as often shown when Seongmin and Yuseong argue and dob on one another, while she'll just keep quiet if she was ever in that situation.

Minni and Yuseong's relationship in a nutshell is crazy. They're both so hyperactive that it'd be a crime to put them together. Despite everyone's efforts to keep them apart, they somehow became the best of friends and often earn sighs from fellow trainees when they're busy running around the place randomly. They're each other's soulmates, but the friend-version if you get what I'm saying.
❝ Close Friend ❞ Lee Eunah / 16 / JYP Trainee / Shy, mature
Where Minni and Yuseong are best friends, Eunah and Kaera are besties, but the four of them are still really close to one another. After all, they are the same age and trainees under the same company so often trained together in their spare time. Obviously, it was Yuseong who spoke to Eunah first, and boy did the two of them hit it off since then. Yuseong comes to Eunah for advice and its all thanks to Yuseong's very open and friendly attitude that Euan herself was able to express herself to others.

She's probably best described as the 'brains behind the operation'. Kaera is Eunah's best buddy, but Yuseong and Minni's close one. She's a very honest girl, and Yuseong looks to her for constructive criticism... which she will often receive in full throttle. Its not like she minds, though, since, being easy-going, she easily accepted people's criticism as ways to improve, instead of being offended. Kaera can be openly sassy towards Yuseong, which both girls have a good laugh about all the time.

Personality: sweet, kind, shy, modest, warm, patient, adorable, loving, just perfect. I know I don't allow perfect characters, and perfect people aren't meant to exist, but how is this boy so perfect? Sorry, lol, I tried. I can't find any of his flaws. maybe his seemingly perfect nature is his biggest flaw? Like he'd seem so sugary-fake or something? I bet most of you feel the same way about your biases, eh? I guess they just don't show their flaws to us or something.

First Meeting: I have two possible meetings in mind. One, would be when iKON debut and the two groups meet behind the scenes at a music show? Seeing as some Mezzo girls are from YG, they know iKON or something, so they just began to talk to them and the other Mezzo girls just joined in randomly. Another would be a training session at YG Entertainment where iKON pop by and the two groups greet each other. May be awkward, may be comfortable. Idek.

Interactions: He's as sweet to her as he is to everybody else. She's as energetic around him as she is around everybody else. There's nothing special just yet. Perhaps they're not at the stage of crushing on one another just yet. Just give it a little time, I'd say.
