FASHION STYLE ☆  Maeng Hyo Jin has all eyes on fashion, she always likes to dress up appropriately for everything. But when she's at home, she's in sweatpants and looks like a person who looks too lazy to go out. Her favorite items are skirts and her favorite outfit is to match them up with collar shirts. She has skirts ranging from minis to maxis and just about all styles you can think of. Since she's always considered herself short, she is always going for heels, or wedges. She also likes sneakers but ones which are high-top or sneaker-wedges. She's not the type of person who wants to step out of her high shoes. Most of her clothes are pastel colors or white, and she's not a huge fan of wearing all-black or an outfit completely dominated by black clothes. If it's an important events and all-black is a must, she wouldn't say anything and listen.

PERSONALITY ☆ 

(Why so serious?)
She's the type of girl who takes almost everything seriously, when something light happens, she'd act like something huge is happening and would do anything to help. She herself finds herself a very serious person but she can also pull really random and small jokes. Definitely not a mood lifter but she would give it a shot if situations are really bad. But those jokes wouldn't be the best jokes for everyone to hear. Aside from those events, she is a very calm girl and likes to take things step by step. She hates rushing things and hates it when people rush her because it will ruin her mood sightly. She is the type to hold in her anger. When someone annoys her, she'd usually take it and and let it out somewhere when she is alone. She doesn't like it when she shows her anger because she doesn't want to worry others and let them go into her personal matters.

Since middle school, she took care of herself as her parents were busy till late hours. She knows the basics to care, and memorizes previous things in order for her to keep them for future reference. She can be reliable and dependant when it comes to taking care of money because she has her own methods to keep everything safe. Making food is her hobby yet since she's started to cook at a young age, it's also a habit for her. She's the type who needs to eat all three meals a day and is a health-freak. She also likes to make food for her friends or family, and she feels happiness when she sees others eat in content. When she goes out, she will take with her almost everything, ranging from food to first aid kit, she gets very weary about whatever will happen so she likes to prepare herself in advance. It may be a heavy bag but if it's for her needs, she'd take whatever she needs.
She loves teasing people, jokes or pairing stories, she will go full on teasing them but she knows the limit to the teases. She finds it fun to tease others with the smallest things. One fun fact about her is that she has weak hands. She would drop whatever it is she has in her hands, water bottle, paper... she doesn't have the strongest grip and it bothers her but it cannot be helped. There were several times she dropped and broke plates due to how weak her hands are.

BACKGROUND ☆ 

Hyo Jin was born to a businessman and a market seller.The father goes to business trips often so Hyo Jin doesn't have the chance to see him often. If he comes home, he'd leave 2 weeks later for another trip. Hyo Jin's mother is a fish market seller. She works from early hours till late but not every day. The mother decided to take a few days off a week just to take care of Hyo Jin. Hyo Jin was interested in fishing at a young age because she would go out to the sea with her mother and catch all sorts of sea food. She found it fun, and is not scared of sea life. 
Hyo Jin was interested in dance, she was the one who danced around the muddy seashores after fishing. The mother would always smile seeing her being happy and dancing around the bay. When she asked her mother about dance classes, she replied telling her to do ballet as a start because 'flexibility is always the start of dancing'. Hyo Jin, being young at that time said "yes" and took ballet for a year in primary school and then went to Japan with her family due to her fathers business. Luckily enough, she was able to find a good ballet class in Tokyo and continuously took classes there. 2 years later, she returned to Jeju Island with her family and continued with all studies and ballet simulataniously. Hyo Jin gradually grew interested in the field of dance and started to learn modern dance from time to time. In high school, Hyo Jin had told her parents about her passion in dancing and in art. They told her that she is allowed to audition, but also make sure that she'll study in university with the right major. 

On the trip to Seoul in high school with her mom, she went to tour different universities but also to audition.

— Father, Maeng Hyung Won ☆ 47 ☆ Business-man ☆ Workaholic, straight-forward, protective ☆ Even if the two didn't get to spend a lot of time together, they message each other a lot, give each other updates, this makes them feel a lot closer than they usually are. When they are together, they talk very seriously about everything and the father worries a lot about Hyo Jin. He keeps telling her that being a trainee isn't the best idea but Hyo Jin always tells him that things will be fine.

The mother loves taking with Hyo Jin about almost everything, and she tries her best to keep in touch with the trend so that she can talk with Hyo Jin comfortably. They love watching dramas together and cook together. Hyo Jin loves to make kimchi with her mother when both of them have time. They are all smiles when they get together and Hyo Jin usually speaks about her worries towards her since the mother is most understanding.

Joo Hee is the reserved type but Hyo Jin helps her to open up more. They love touring restaurants together since they both love eating and take good care of each other.

When Hyo Jin has no one at home, Woo Hee would come to visit and they'd have dinner together. Song Woo hee is a very daring girl. Sometimes Hyo Jin would worry about her a lot because she always takes the risky road but luckily nothing bad has happened

The only impression Hyo Jin got at first was 'quiet / cold' but he was a funny guy. He was funnier the more she got to know him. He would throw jokes at her so that she'd feel less tense during practice and she was always thankful for that. She always wanted to say thankful for the relaxing dance classes but never got to do so.

TRAINEE LIFE ☆  She auditioned for 2 companies, one being BigHit. She got accepted for the first round. She sung Baek Ji Young's 'Please Don't Forget' and a small rap she had written herself. She trained in Big Hit for 3 years and it was a rollercoaster ride. There were times she enjoyed dancing, taking singing lessons but then get overly stress out and doesn't know what to do for the montly exams. Her, being the hardworking one clenched her teeth and tried her best to see the limit she had holding in her. Despite not having any friends around her sharing the same pain, she was brave enough and went through it all.

PERSONALITY ☆  A very smiley man, he likes to smile a lot and is often seen with his guitar. He likes to compose and play on the guitar when he has the chance to do so. His hobby is to write lyrics too. He's the type to throw cheesy jokes and lines to his close ones and to brighten up the atmosphere. His groupmates cannot understand the world of humor he is in. However, he is not the best speaker, he can mess up his words slightly when he talks and stutters a bit. He is also very athletic and called 'soft charisma' which is a mix of being sweet and charismatic according to situations.

RELATIONSHIP ☆  A senior-junior relationship and not so close friends

HISTORY ☆  They first met at the waiting rooms for a music show. Hyo Jin has always wanted to meet him because she always liked men who play the guitar and sing at the same time. She fell for him since the 'Guy Like Me' promotions. She handed over their signed CD to Jonghwan and they shared a brief conversation like "I love your lyrics and voice! Please keep up the amazing work" Jonghwan was very awkward when they first met whereas Hyo Jin was very excited and her heart fluttered a lot. Jonghwan even stuttered to say 'thank you' They met a second time at another broadcast station where they just shared their greetings and after 100%'s performance Hyo Jin said "that was an amazing performance" and give them thumbs up. Jonghwan liked her for her bright personality and was thankful for the feedback she gave them from time to time. 

One day, Jonghwan passed by the girls waiting room and gave Hyo Jin and coffee drink to thank her for the feedback and support, he also said that he would treat her for a small lunch one day. On that day, Hyo Jin also had a read through his lyrics and gave him her opinions about the lyrics, and giving constructive criticism. Jonghwan enjoyed her company and was hoping for a possible collab in the future.
