APPEARANCE: Eunhye stands at 163cm and weighs 50kg. Her hair is straight and jet black whereas her eyes are a dark shade of brown. However, Eunhye has many strands of white hair that can be easily spotted due to the contrast. She has a faint dimple on her right cheek and if it shows while she's smiling, that's when you know she's genuinely happy. Her skin is pale with an undertone of yellow. She has a mole on the middle of her chin and is very insecure about it. The only feature that Eunhye has which she's proud of are her fingers as they are long and elegant looking.

 

STYLE: Eunhye's fashion would be considered simple or cute. Her outfit would normally consist of a pair of jeans and shirt for when it's cold, or a dress for when it's hot. In winter, she likes to wear huge coats as it hides her invisible curves. In summer, a must have item for Eunhye is a hat. Whether it be snapbacks, sun hats or fedoras.

BACKGROUND: Eunhye was born on the 27th of April 1992 to a newly wed couple. Growing up, she was spoiled with gifts and showered with love. When she turned five, her parents had another baby boy named Jingoo. Unable to aid him 24/7, Eunhye's parents hired a maid that still works for them to this day. When Eunhye started school, that's when her parents became strict about her grades. Although she was six, her parents pressured her into being the top of the class. Whether it was because of her parent's nagging or her naturally smart brain, she succeeded to become the smartest kid in the class. Two year after Jingoo was born, her parents had another son named Junwoo. 

 

Since Eunhye's the sister of two brothers, she learnt how to resolve fights and arguments. If her siblings were fighting in front of her parents, she would get in trouble for not controlling them. By the age of fourteen, she grew distant with her parents and planned to move out when she started university. She felt too dependent and controlled by her parents. 

 

In second grade of high school she had her first boyfriend, Kai. After they graduated, Kai said that he had to study overseas when he actually moved to Seoul. Eunhye was in a phase where she didn't want to do anything but soon got over it. She has never had a boyfriend since.

 

LIFESTYLE: Since Eunhye's university is located in Seoul, she used that as an excuse to move out. She now lives in a cozy, affordable apartment by herself. When she's not at the cafe, she could be at her university studying medicine or playing tennis at her local tennis club. To pass the time, Eunhye likes to put together puzzles or watch dramas. Every month, her parents send her just enough money to live off of. On top of that, she also works at another cafe at her university campus. Since her class times and the cafe times clash, she can only work there two times a week.

PERSONALITY: Eunhye likes to observe things and care about the little details. She'll compliment you on your weight loss or take away that plant you're allergic to. She likes to make people feel special and let them know she cares about them. When there's a fight, the first thing she does is listen to both sides of the story. She doesn't want to be biased and say that the most favored person is right. She likes to give people a chance. Eunhye is good with children and the elderly as she is calm and gentle. It's as if the word 'angry' doesn't exist in her dictionary. However, if you've exceeded her limit of patience, she will explode. Eunhye is very smart and is currently studying medicine. She always scores first but is humble about it. In fact, she doesn't like to tell people about her accomplishments as they most likely put her on the spotlight and praise her. She can't take praise very well. Eunhye likes to help people behind the scenes because of her inability to accept thanks and praise. She does little things such as putting a blanket over you when you're sleeping or serve the customer you forgot to serve.

 

Eunhye is very introverted and people would often mistake her silence as rudeness. She tries to escape conversations and can't continue small talk. She likes to be left alone, even though she would envy those who are having a good time socializing. Most of the time, Eunhye will do what she is told as she can never say no. Neither does she voice her opinions. She likes to play safe and doesn't want to go against other people's thoughts as it might hurt their feelings. Eunhye is filled with stress and never tells anyone to avoid worry. This is what causes her white hair. When people ask about her white hair, she uses her father's genes as an excuse instead of stress. Eunhye is easily distracted and daydreams often. It may be up to the point that she doesn't know what's going around her. The fact that Eunhye is intelligent but a big daydreamer confuses people. She is very forgetful and hopes that there will be an invention where you can find your lost things. Although Eunhye may seem worry free and fine on the outside, she is very sensitive on the inside and takes people's criticism to heart. These are one of the factors of her stress.

SUMMARY: Overall, Eunye is calm, gentle and carefree on the outside but insecure and full of stress on the inside. She likes to take care of people behind their back and is the ideal girlfriend to introduce to your parents.

Because Yura is studying Overseas at Australia, the two friends don't have a chance to meet up. However, they do call each other every now and then. The two know each other more than they know themselves.

Minhee first approached Eunhye since Eunhye always looked lonely. The two's humor connect which is why their friendship is still lasting. They have a lot of inside jokes which people never understand.

This was the reason why he couldn't break up with her. Eunhye's aegyo comes out of nowhere when she's around Kai but denies it. Kai tries to act cold towards her but there are times when he smiles to himself because of Eunhye.

 

 

COWORKERS: 

 

The Server || Eunhye always likes someone that's the complete opposite of her. She always needs someone to voice her opinions to because she can't hold it in. Sometimes, she'll tell that person to tell everyone else her opinion as she's too shy to say so herself. ||  Whenever Eunhye is handing the drink over to the Server, she likes to add little jokes in between just to have a little fun. When the Server has a negative mood due to a customer, Eunhye tries to comfort and lighten up their mood.

Q1: Why did you decide to apply to this cafe?
A: I decided to apply for this cafe because I've had some experiences of being a barista before so I feel comfortable with this job. The main reason why I am looking for a job is because I want to earn money independently. I still work at the other cafe I just talked about but their pay is low and the times don't match with my schedule. *nervous laughter*

Q2: Who do think you're closest to out of everyone who works here?
A: Probably the server because I have been here a couple of times and he tells me that they remember me. 

Q3: Who do you get along with least of everyone?
A: Well... I haven't had a chance to get to know everyone but I would have to say the manager. He reminds me of my dad. Bossy and Stubborn. I just don't like people who are like that and try to avoid them at all times.

Q4: If there were a sudden catastrophe and you could only pick 3 things to help you survive the apocalypse, what would they be?
A: I would take a bag and stuff it with water, food and... a crowbar. Wait... does a bag count as an item? I hope not... To survive I  must kill, but it's so gruesome. Wait... what's an apocalypse? I just realized you didn't say 'zombie' apocalypse. Do you still kill stuff?

A: Sorry, I don't watch Harry Potter. But my spirit animal would be... a dolphin? I don't know. Actually yeah, dolphins. They're quiet, calm and SMART! I guess I'm not that smart but... I'll just end it at there. I'm talking too much.

Q6: What's your overall opinion of working at the cafe?
A: It would be an honor to work at the cafe. I'll work my hardest but also try and interact with the people around me. I want to try to open up and become confident.

PERSONALITY: Han Sanghyuk, mostly known as Hyuk, never runs out of energy and is always on his feet. If you tell him to go and fetch a bottle of water, he'll bring it to you in a blink of an eye. It's almost as if he's hyper. Hyuk can easily make a joke which has the ability to lighten up any situation. He likes to think positively and hates to see anyone sad as he went through a depressing and lonely phase in middle school. 

 

Hyuk is very stubborn and always wants to be told that he's right. He'll win any argument even if his defenses make no sense. He's very persistent and doesn't give up. He'll even get into a fight if that proves him right. When he gets into trouble, that's when his sassy side appears. People older than him mistake this trait as him being rude since it shows no respect. At times, his mouth has no filter and he just voices what he thinks on the spot. Sometimes, it's because he's oblivient to the fact that his statement may hurt someone but other times, it's because his mouth just opens automatically. He even needs to cover his mouth from surprise if that happens.

TRIVIA: Hyuk is born on the 5th of July 1993. Although he is older than Eunhye, he is her junior in university as he started a year late. 

HISTORY: Hyuk was the server that always said he remembered Eunhye when she came into the cafe. She first found him a bit odd and unattractive but soon got used to his happy-go-lucky personality due to her numerous visits. Hyuk would even remember her regular order, a cappuccino and cookies-and-cream frosted cupcake, which made her think he took some interest in her. She started to fantasize about him and wondered if they would become a good couple. She found out that he goes to the same university as her from the small talk she had with him. However, he studies journalism instead of medicine.

 

When Hyuk heard that Eunhye took interest in him from his fellow server, he disregarded it completely and didn't think it was true. After a while, he directly asked her himself and not knowing what to do, Eunhye told him that she got over her feelings for him a long time ago. If he were to be honest, a little bit him died.

 

After that, Eunhye started to occupy his mind every hour, every minute. He came to a conclusion that he liked Eunhye. Since his feelings popped up recently, he decided that if he still liked her after 4 months, he would confess.

 

4 months later, Hyuk decided to ask Eunhye out and told everyone in the cafe. He asked Jaerin to make the cookies-and-cream frosted cupcake and someone else to make the cappuccino so that he could give it to Eunhye. After the cafe closed, Hyuk walked Eunhye home and confessed to her. She accepted and they live happily ever after!

INTERACTIONS: Hyuk likes to troll Eunhye as he loves her reactions. He treats Eunhye like a friend and does not see her as a woman whatsoever. When Hyuk trolls Eunhye, she always slaps Hyuk's shoulder. Their relationship is equivalent to a cat and dog. They like to fight for fun and you would never know they liked each other.
