Sarang is what people may call "Natural Beauty". She was already born with something that would always call others attention. Even when she was just a baby people would approach her parents with a smile complimenting their work. Her facial features are beautiful and cute with her plump lips, perfect small nose and mesmerizing eyes. You can't take her image off of your head once you lay your eyes on her. Standing tall or not at 160cm with the weight 49kg, she is mostly flat in every part of her body, her legs are long and skinny, doesn't has a big booty and s aren't that big either, however, she is often called  "y". She has four ear piercings. One on her left ear and three on the right. Has a birthmark a bit under her bellybutton area with the shape of a small flower. Her hair color is naturally dark brown.

 Sarang was always that type of girl that would dress to impress, even if she was just going to stay indoors watching a movie, she would always try to look the best she could ! After all you never know what is going to happen, who you're going to meet all of a sudden. She loves to pick different type of clothes and join them all. If it's a mess ? No, it looks really good on her because she wears it with confidence. The randomness of her choices, are what makes her unique, since she can choose different pieces and create a lovely outfit that others might look down upon. She's a fan of high heels and loves to collect hats, every type of hat, but normally doesn't use them.

Sarang is arguably the most complex of all her band members, so there are seemingly many contradictions in her personality until you look close enough to see the layers. Sarang can be very confident. She has no problem interacting with people right away, and she has a way of rolling with the interviewers even at times people find themselves cringing of second hand embarrassment from the off-topic questions. She, on the other hand, manages to brush things off as jokes if she doesn’t want to discuss it or answer them, with an ease that is admirable. She is always with a attitude that screams ‘think what you want of me, I don’t even care’. She also seems more than comfortable with going out on her own, or spending time by herself. This suggests not only a ease with getting along with anyone she meets, but a self assuredness that she can enjoy what she’s doing on her own - and that’s a sign of maturity. In the same way, however, Sarang can sometimes be very insecure.. She has a very visible outward confidence and she has an ability to charm people in both a friendly and flirty way and I don’t think she’s shy in the slightest. But, she has a lot of “am I good enough” moments. We can see it almost everyday if we spend a lot of time with her, in the way that in every interview when she’s talking she almost always looks to the other members as though she’s seeking confirmation that what she is saying is alright. She seems like she needs someone there telling her “yes you’re right, you’re ok”. So, because of that, insecurity would make her need to be surrounded by affectionate people that can reaffirm the fact that she’s not going to be left alone and that she IS good enough. People find  interesting that a majority of her friends are boys. I personally don’t think it has anything to do with the fact that she is afraid of being friends with a girl!  I think it has more to do with the fact that boys are typically more openly affectionate with their friends, so they would offer more hugs and “I love you’s” and more deep and personal conversations, which is what she needs to feel connected and important and just needed.

She seems very ready to be an adult; especially in the emotional sense. In a lot of ways though, Sarang seems to be dominated by these emotions. She is very impulsive, she seems to have a tendency to act upon her initial emotional response. In multiple occasions we can see  her giving in to sadness, jealousy (in getting almost moody when a certain member’s attention is off of her and onto someone else) and many times crying on stage. Sarang is someone who is not afraid to recognize her emotions and isn’t one to try to hide them or force them down. She’s  easy to read; she wears her emotions on her sleeve clear and open for anyone who takes the time to notice them. She is also very empathetic, she is able to identify her own emotions and  can also easily identify those emotions in other people. In the same way she responds really well to what people need in the moment, and it’s this ability, which I think is part of why people so easily grow fond of her,  the strong ability to empathize, is typical among people who are comfortable with children because they are able to respond to the child’s inability to vocalize what they need, and she can do that, since she deals with a lot of baby cousins in the family. On a slightly negative side, her impulsive tendency to react to emotions can also get her into trouble, because I think she wouldn’t shy away from calling someone out when she was angry, or at least failing to disguise her anger, or upset etc. On another negative note, it can make her  very vulnerable to conflict because sometimes she seems to lack the ability to understand why people don’t think the way she does and see things the way she does. Sarang doesn’t  like to be in charge. It makes her feel closer to people if they are the ones demanding something of her, and her being able to give to!  It gives her  the security and feeling that she has made them happy. In this way I believe this reflects once again to her ultimate desire to feel needed and wanted and why she admits to being attracted to confidence. It’s impossible to overlook the fact that Sarang simply has that “it” factor. There isn’t much to say on the topic, because it’s hard to pinpoint exactly what about her it is that draws people to her the way that she does. And yet it’s pretty hard to dispute the idea that she seems to be the crowd favorite and in a lot of ways I don’t think you can narrow it down to one or two characteristics. She’s Choi Sarang - a normal person who is just good at being famous, whether she intends to be or not.

background/past

Choi Sarang was born and raised in Los Angeles to a Korean father and Korean mother. Her parents both had successful jobs so money never was a problem for them. Growing up, Sarang had a fairly normal childhood. She is the second oldest in the family, having a older and younger brother. She is not the best example to explain how asians are always smart, because her journey when it comes to school is not the best. She never liked to study and it was a shock to her parents. Her older brother was amazing at learning new languages while her youngest was already really smart in maths. She was just a girl that had average grades, she couldn't become a doctor or have another awesome job with those grades.

Sarang reportedly learned guitar in the eighth grade. In her last year of junior high, Choi Sarang learned both classic guitar and how to play the piano. She is actually a student under Seoul of Performing Arts majoring in Singing. Sarang was a Superstar K2 contestant, finishing in second place. After initial success with Superstar K2, CEO Yang Hyun Suk signed Sarang to YG Entertainment on January 12, 2010.  Sarang was 14 years old. She was enrolled in dance and acting classes, including modeling classes as well. Her journey as an artist became bigger with the role in the drama "I Hear your Voice" as the young Hyesung, a supporting role. After a year of training under YG Entertainment, the young girl, now with 19 years old, moved to SM Entertainment, after an audition, since she said that SM was more the style of music she liked to do, and finally debuted with VOX.

TRAINEE LIFE —

Coming from a different culture and country, Sarang knew that she wouldn't be treated like a princess right away. In fact it was the complete opposite. First when she was accepted in YG, they told her a bunch of stories about trainees that were bullied because they were foreigners. Alright, she isn't the type of girl to be affraid this easily, but she knew that her life wouldn't be easy, specially if her Korean was so limitated in that time, she wouldn't be able to fight back because she wouldn't find the right words to say. When she was accepted in SM she felt better, they had a lot of foreigner trainees. She never was bullied physicaly, but she heard a lot of bad comments. However, her beautiful face saved her a lot of times. She made friends rather easily specially with boys that were curious to know her better. She even had a boyfriend during two months. She was strong, she fought everyday for a spot in the big KPOP world, it was thanks to her personality and strong desire to debut that Sarang was able to overcome all the difficulties. She was the first girl to arrive at dance practice and would be the last one leaving.

You know how vanilla ice cream is sweet and simple yet popular enough that everyone likes it ? That's how you can describe Jongin. He likes to keep to himself and when people try talking to him he occasionally will shy away from them because he had built a shell around himself, although he has a shy personality he does have the occasional times where de 'd have the soft burst of confidence and he'll go up to someone and introduce himself to get to know them and make friends. His social skills aren't the best and occasionally he might just seem so meek, a bit off putting and annoying which he doesn't try to be, he just has this fear of someone trying to hurt him that he's scared of the most. When he is on stage, his personality changes drastically, he becomes y, not afraid to follow the music. Jeongmin is also very funny, sometimes maybe too much, he likes to make lame jokes. People will eventually laugh even if the jokes are not funny at all.

Do you know those lame love stories, when the boy and the girl just kind of look at each other and everything else becomes secundary, moving in slow motion ? It might seem a scene taken from a movie, but it was exactly like this that Jongin and Sarang fell for each other. And when I say 'fell', I mean, falling hard, deep in love with each other. Jongin and Sarang met each other through Taemin that always was close with Jongin. Sarang is the epitome of perfection in Jongin's eyes and when he first laid his eyes on her, he knew it was kind of love at first sight. The way the wind played against her hair, the way she smiled shyly when someone compliments her, he definitely started to pay attention to the small details. All of this might sound too cliche, but Jongin is the man of her life, she is crazy about him while he definitely is completely in love with her. However, they can't just voice their feelings as if it was nothing, they both have a image to keep, in the moment they become KPOP Idols, they almost lose their private life, so when they are together in public, they don't speak much nor have any physical contact, but people can see how much they care about each other, because of the way he looks at her, how how she blushes when she notices his breathtaking smile.
