personality » Taeyang isn't the best person nor is hse the worst person. It just depends on how she woke up. Typical Taeyang likes to keep herself busy, and enjoy taking on tasks. She likes to help others with their problems and enjoy giving other people advice. However don't think she will sugar coat anything that comes out of , because she will tell you straight up. She is pretty laid back, and likes just hanging around others. She may seem like an akward turtle when you meet her, but as she get use to you, you will forget how introverted she seemed like.. This little free spirit often seems sassy and bossy, but she just likes to give her opinion. If she's not giving her opinion then that probably means she is spaced out working problems or thinking her next new project to pick up.Her expressive way of speaking make her seem like a know it all, but its just that she slightly likes to win... a bit too much. Taeyang likes to rough house and use sarcasm playfully. She believes in the whole let things work out themselves, until your assistance is need. She tends to take everyone words and actions in consideration, and tries to deal with situations accordingly. When it comes to her members she will always stick up for them and try her best to make sure everyone is happy.

 

Dont let her chill demeanor think she's harmless. She will confront you and dont believe talking about you behind your back. She rather say it to your face.Being with people 24/7 and sharing her career with her members makes her feel a bit off and nervous that they won't like her. However she enjoys their company and likes to just find a quiet place and observe their interactions. Taeyang likes taking on projects, which seems to pile on and seems to make her attention span flit to one thing to an other. She needs someone to reign in her ideas and make sure that she's not juggling to many things or she will be spread thin. She takes on tasks as an indirect way to show her fondness for others. This brings up the subject of her waiting until last minute if she is not motivated. An example is her doing her chores late while everyone is sleeping so that she wont get distracted by others. She dislikes chores and often playfully whine to others to make them guilty for making her do the tasks, but will do them anyway. Once someone has gotten to know her they notice her little quirks like her singing off key to songs, or her displaying ssanti. SHe was spoiled by all of her family, so she likes getting her way. Even though she likes getting her way, she will put others before her. Unless its chores. Because chores are #1 enemy besides exercise.

background » Taeyang is a city chick. Raised around the hutsle and bustle she grew up in New York. She had lived with her motherand siblings in a small apartment. She grew up around spanish culture and spoke Spanish around the house alot. She would visit her father side of family that lived also in New York, and picked up the basics of the culture and language. She liked to compete in the paegents held nearby New York, but only got as high as second place mainly.  At age 9 she was sent to live with her father due to having joint custody. Since he lived in Korea her mother decided to let him have custody, and to let Taeyang decide if she wants to stay in Korea when she gets older.

 

Taeyang always was a little drama queen and loved to perform. SInce she was in the second grade she joined her school drama and choir clubs. She first had wanted to become a bachata singer, and go to Puerto Rico, but was pulled into rap when she heard her brother collection of Nas, Wu Tang Clan, etc. She saw that with rap you could express your thoughts just a good as singing. When she moved to Korea (which she threw a hissy fit at) she learned of Khip hop. It was a hard time for her because she didn't exactly know the language well. She feared that with her mix background that she couldn't make it, but she discovered that Tiger Jk and Lady T were mixed also. She was determined to be a star, but wasn't into Kpop. At 12 she started to hang with older people and eventually got into underground rap which her father was unaware about, but her stepmom knew of. She used "YaYa" as her name, and made a group with her friends being the only female and the maknae. At age 13 she made a sample song that featured Dok2.Around this time she also was making covers of rap and tried her hand at a few Kindie/pop songs on Youtube. Dok2 had then became a mentor to her, and she had met Jay, who became a brother to her.  

 

At age 14 she began to hang with Dok2 alot more which gave her the opportunity to meet Thunderground maker themself Tablo. As she kept up her underground activities she met others as well, adn eventually her grades slipped.Tablo never mentioned why he ever asked her to join YG,but from then on he became a father figure to her. She tried out for YG 3 times, and constatly sent in videos of her work. YG accepted her at the age of 16.

Maria Torres-Taeyang's mother. Although Yang was mad at her mother for making her move, she loves her mother alot and had a close bond with her.She works an office assistant.

 

Carlos & Jose Torres-Taeyangs older half brothers. They love their sister alot, and try to stay in contact with her as much as they can. Whenever Tae comes to the states she normally go back to Korea with her memory card full because of their selfie spree.

 

Hyunsik Seo-Taeyang's father. He seems very serious all the time. He normally works alot and likes to spoil his kids. He is one of those tough love seemingly type of person.

 

Sunhwa Seo- her younger sister. She is only 5 and is just as saay as her older sis. She loves Taeyang deeply, and want to be whatever Taeyang is.

 

Somin Seo- Taeyang's stepmom. They get along very well, and was supportive of Taeyang activities. She helped hide her underground rapping from her father.

personality »Mino is just a goof ball all around. He's messy, and loves food. Oh and rap. Don''t let his cool demeanor fool you, Mino is anything but that. He likes to play around with is friends. When he is serious he gives off this arrogant aura that makes you want to smack him. Besides all that he is passionate about what he loves, and treasure it with all his heart. 

love story » Well I mean, he matches Taeyang's ideal with the voice and the looks. However she fell for not because those qualities. She had became a trainee in YG and trained hard in her vocals. She didn't want to become a vocal, but had a hard time concentrating on her practice rapping. She met Mino when she was taking up time in the studio. He has commented about her rap not being pop-like. Eversince then Mino would sneak Taeyang into the studio during his time to help her and hang out. Tablo and Teddy knows alllll about this and Tablo fears that Taeyang will get hurt.

 

As Mino went on to debut he had less time for her, which made her spend more time with his close friens Zico, who came by alot (normally Mino would dump Taeyang on Zico and tell her she can learn from him). One Zico figures out that Taeyang likes Mino and tries to tell her to find a cute boy like B.I or Bobby to fall for. Taeyang gets upset and stop coming by and ignoring Mino. After gathering enough courage she types up a confession letter, and a fellow trainee who knows Taeyang stops by and discover the note. Mino come by and Taeyang gives him the letter to which he reads, only ruffling her hair and saying she's too cute trying to cover for her friend (the girl ran when he stopped by). Hurt she ignores him again only to sneak into a party and get drunk and crashes into Mino. Mino decides to take her to the apartment Winner shares and she kisses him, saying her first kiss was the best. Although Mino feels wrong to be with her, he already had feelings for her, but she was too young for him. He tells her to wait for him when she turns 20. All to which Taeyang agrees too, but that doesn't mean she doesn't kiss and use skinship on him which gets him flustered.
