⟪ PERSONALITY ⟫ Blunt, smart, stubborn, reserved/secretive, childish, quick-learner

Minjung tends to speak her mind about something to those she's close to. There is no holding back. If she doesn't like that person, she would tell someone about it. If she thinks someone is being cruel, she would tell someone about it too. But she's also smart. Although she's blunt, she would calculate what would happen after she speaks her mind. It leads her to being reserved/secretive. The only things she says are the truth and hopefully, won't sting. She knows her limits so she tends to leave out some things so that others won't be hurt. She also knows that it is sometimes best to keep quiet, the incident happening in their (Japan) company never left the walls of the company, she never told anyone other than her members about the cruelness they had to face. Minjung was born stubborn. If she wants something, she won't stop until she gets it, if she failed, she'll try harder until she suceeds. People tend to take advantage of that, especially people from Studio Entertainment. Her stubborness is almost similar to Roi, he sticks to his plans, while she sticks to what she thinks is right and her goals in life. It's hard for people to change her mind on something after she sets her mind into it.

Back to being smart, Minjung takes her studies seriously. She came from an educational family so she inherited some talents and skills from them. She knows tons of facts, useless ones and useful ones. Unknowingly, she is also childish. It's something natural in her since her brother always teases her and plays with her. Her childish side is usually seen when she wants something, it's usually ice-cream though. But after the years in Studio Entertainment, she's quite shy in showing her childish side since she gets yelled at for it due to them wanting her to have a mature image. Minjung is a quick-leaner when she sets her mind into it. When learning dance steps, just show her two-to-three times and she'll get it right. But since she remembers tons of things, she tends to mix things up, that's why she make lots of mistakes on stage. When she's trying out new things, she would try her best to get it right (it leads to her being stubborn too).

⟪ BACKGROUND ⟫

Minjung is the oldest, and only daughter of Kim Jeongmin and Park Hyera. She grew up being cautious, her parents were teachers after all and they could be mean, especially if she did something wrong. Growing up, she enjoys reading novels, mangas and watching animes. Her interest in the Japanese culture grew larger. She decided to be an idol when she saw this Japanese girl group called, C-ute, and started learning all things Japanese.  Her younger brother and her were always interested in music, but they had different taste. She liked J-pop and ballads while he liked K-pop and hip hop. Minjung first auditioned for CUBE Entertainment with her brother in 2007 and after two years there, she was transfered to Studio Entertainment .

→ Her stagename, Mia, is Italian for "Mine". She got it from a character in the anime 'Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future' named Mia, who's personality is that she is stubborn and doesn't back down from a challenge. But she likes it if her friends and fans call her by her real name.

→ The first Japanese song she composed was for Roi (Juniel- Falling In Love) while the first English song she composed was about the treatment they got from Studio Entertainment (Christina Perri- Human) but others (except for her members) think that it's about a hard relationship.
→ She's a Disney fan, and is always up-to-date with new Disney movies.
→ She likes to read fanfiction about JELSA (Jack Frost and Elsa).
→ She wanted to quit the entertainment business after the incident but her members convinced her otherwise.

It's funny how her predictions are true. She's protective of Minjung and wants what's best for her.

They met when Minjung came to their concert and got a backstage pass. They became friends after that and Airi would help Minjung with her Japanese pronouncation and singing.

The two never took a step into romance before. Minjung fell in love with him, it became a crush, a long-time crush that lasted for 5 years, 2009-2014. Both of them were too shy to confess. When 2015 came, Minjung thinks it's time, she was going to confess.

⟪ HISTORY ⟫

Minjung fell for Roi at first sight. Well not literally falling in love but he caught her attention. She spied on him practising a few times and saw how hardworking he was. The two got put together in the same group and she got to know him better. Roi never took the first step in a romantic kind of way but he did gave her a few, possible, hints that he also liked her back. Sadly she had to move to Japan. Roi, to remember him by, gave her a myositis flower necklace, otherwise known as forget-me-not. She rarely took it off, and sometimes, she likes to make up that the six flowers mean "I L-O-V-E U" just to keep her spirit up.

Minjung, during her years away from Roi, always called her brother at the end of the month to ask about Roi. She wanted to know if he was with another girl, if he was sick or if he quit. Her brother teases her of being obsessed but he always gets scolded by her in the end. Roi actually likes Minjung, he's just so shy. During their trainee years at CUBE Entertainment, her last year there, Roi kissed her under a mistletoe during Christmas. It was both their first kisses.
