true background » he travelled around a lot. yuhwan ended up in germany during world war ii, where he stayed only for a short time before he managed to escape (after losing a life, unfortunately; he was shot by a soldier, who he willingly killed of course, after recovering from the initial pain of dying). the first time he died was in korea, where his family had lived around a village, occasionally appearing before the people as regular humans. on a full moon night, he was spotted under the light, and was soon with a bounty on his head. when he was killed by villagers armed with weapons and tools, his father massacred them without mercy. the second time he died was in china. he had been an innocent passerby to a fight. needless to say, he and his father taught them a lesson (not that they needed it; they didn't live to tell the tale). otherwise, he's had a pretty normal, boring life. he had tea with shakespeare though. yES.

mother » jo jongok ; 2009 (44) ; doctor | carefree, supportive, kind | yuhwan doesn't often visit his mother; but when he does, he regrets it. his mother spits words like a machine gun; she never stops. she looks young for her age (she looks about her 30s).

father » jo sangho ; 2019 (45) ; businessman | carefree, protective, talkative | yuhwan's father travels everywhere. most of his jobs are abroad, not that he minds - or anybody really. he's like this annoying presence at home. he may appear to care about nothing (he's all over his family though), but once someone hurts his family, he will hunt them down (as he had done with those who had hurt yuhwan).
