youngdae is really honest,she prefer to tell everyone the ugly truth than saying sugar-coated lies.don't be hurt if youngdae says you're ugly because thats probably the truth.truth to be told,youngdae cant lie.even though someone asked her to lie,she couldn't,she wont be an actress one day and she doesn't want to be one anyways.

this girl is really clumsy,not only around her crush - side eyes kyungsoo - but she's clumsy everywhere.that is one disadvantages to be in archery,and the other way around.she sometimes tripped over her own feet and ended up throwing something,her aims are pretty accurate so the thing she's throwing ended up kissing the wall or someone's face.that is pretty bad considering she thrown a cutter before.thank god no one got hurt,well,she barely missed jongdae's face tho - "even a cutter wants a taste of my face" "shut up oppa,i'm going to throw a kitchen knife next time" "....ok" -

yep,youngdae is basically the calmest person in hollaback club.in the middle of an intense pillow fight started by the almighty twin of hers,kim jongdae,youngdae managed to gather the 'ammunition' - thats how jongdae calls it - and stack it neatly back in place,but got thrown again by the fighters - read : the hullabaek kids - youngdae still as calm as ever,continuing to do the same thing over and over again.she finds it hard to laugh at a joke and having fun because of the syndrome she's suffering to.
 

prologue : world,welcome the dae twins
in september 21,1995,in a hospital somewhere in siheung,gyeonggi-do,south korea,the dae twins were born.the slightly older one,kim jongdae,and the slightly younger one,kim youngdae,brought huge smiles to their parents,kim daewoong and kim miho.miho were the most excited one watching the twins grow up,she made a scrapbook about both of them,she wrote everything inside,its basically a diary filled with photos and decorations.from their first word to their first birthday,everything were written inside.


chapter one : oppa and i
the dae twins are the cutest siblings alive to the family.they play together,learn together,fight together,cry together,grew up together,the dae twins does everything together except for taking bath because jongdae would run to the bathroom and close the door before youngdae can enter.for those who don't know they're twins,they would think that jongdae and youngdae were dating,trust me,that happens a lot.they were inseparable,they stick together like papers glued with a super glue.after school jongdae would drag youngdae to random snack place and play rock-paper-scissor to determind who pays for the snacks.usually jongdae would win,but youngdae always uses her almighty aegyo and jongdae ended up paying anyways


chapter two :  when hell broke loose
in middle school,jongdae is really famous among the girls,from the younger girls to the noonas,everyone likes jongdae.why not?he's sweet,funny,and just totally lovable.no one knows that jongdae and youngdae are twins,they thought they were dating.youngdae's closeness to jongdae and their usual lovey doveyness between siblings makes the girls jealous.the girls starts bullying youngdae by putting threat messages inside youngdae's locker,putting insects in youngdae's desk,draws on youngdae's p.e uniform,etc.but the worst thing happened by the last year of middle school,youngdae were beaten up badly by the girls and locked inside a dark storage room in school.jongdae found her after threatening the girls,youngdae passed out because of lack of oxygen and fear


chapter three : i will protect you,sister
jongdae were really angry when he found youngdae passed out in the storage room.jongdae felt guilty when youngdae woke up crying and shivering saying that she's scared in the hospital.he promised to youngdae to protect her while crying and hugging youngdae tight.miho and daewoong heard about youngdae's case and decided to move to seoul after both graduated.youngdae changed from a ball of sunshine to a cold girl,she doesn't laugh at jongdae's lame jokes and had difficulty on sleeping,this worried her parents and jongdae,they brought her back to a hospital.jongdae cried again when the doctor said that youngdae suffered to gelotophobia,he made a promise to himself and his sister that he would protect her no matter what.

heo youngji (18) is youngdae's long-lost sister,she has so many similarities to youngdae,especially the i-cant-stand-the-heat part.they have some bonding activities in Sundays,they always tells stories and told each other whats bothering them in that week.youngji is a cheerful,understanding,brave,and charming girl,she is as honest as youngdae,theres no secrets between both of them.but sometimes youngji can be naggy,noisy,childish,and over-protective over youngdae.youngji is like the younger sister youngdae never had,and youngji is basically jongdae number two to youngdae.youngji told youngdae that she's crushing on youngdae's seatmate and youngdae is looking forward to matchmake them

dorm mate heo youngji

at 5 in the morning,youngdae would wake up,opening the window for fresh air.she goes to youngji's bed to wake the younger girl up.youngji and youngdae makes breakfast together and take turns on taking a bath.life isn't as chaotic in her case.they walk together to the park at the back of the school,talking like normal friends do.sometimes youngji would ask youngdae to help her finish her half done homework

youngdae always walks youngji to the younger's class,they talked a bit before youngdae bids her goodbye and walked to her own class.they always meet up again at lunch,sitting together with jongdae and jackson in the rooftop because the cafeteria is just too full for her liking,besides,youngdae is claustrophobic

at night,the two would make dinner together and eat it while watching some K dramas in the tv.they wash dishes together and have a small talk again.youngdae will give youngji daily updates on jackson and youngji will tell youngdae about her day.youngdae told youngji the nina bobo story before and that makes youngji afraid of youngdae's constant singing of nina bobo every night.

it was the third day youngji and youngdae becomes dorm mates,youngji were still kind of shy near youngdae.to youngdae's surprise,youngji approached her that night.

"it was a stormy night,screams were heard from nina's room,she was looking horrible,her body were folded backward,her blone hair were so messy,and the black of her eyes widened"youngdae continues
youngji shuddered hearing youngdae's story"that is not nina,its an evil spirit in her body,yes,nina's posessed"youngdae whispered,hugging the couch cushion tighter"nina's hands were tied with a rope afterwards"
"everyone was scared,nina's father were frustrated because this never happened before,nina's mother can only cry hearing her dearest daughter screaming every night"youngdae said,playing with the cushion
"nina's father decided to go back to the netherlands,and the maids left because they were scared,leaving nina and her mother alone in Indonesia"youngji squealed in fear when a thunder suddenly blasted
youngdae's face were serious as she tells youngji the story"suddenly,one night,its unusually calm,nina's mother is really happy and scared at the same time,happy that nina might be cured and scared if nina is already...dead"
another thunder resonated from outside,youngji bites the cushion to prevent herself from screaming

after dropping youngji off to the younger's class,youngdae always bought a small pack of chocolate milk for jackson.she knows jackson loves the chocolate milk so she buys him one every day.she always put the chocolate milk on jackson's desk ( if his fangirls haven't filled the desk with their present ) with an encouraging note on a post it.sometimes ( not really a lot ) jackson comes earlier so youngdae can give it directly to the latter

"if you want to search for me in lunch breaks,i'm at the rooftop"
the cafeteria is always full and youngdae is claustrophobic,she prefers to sit at the rooftop.at first,youngdae sits there along,but as time passes,jongdae follows youngdae to the rooftop and met jackson and youngji,who then followed their fav person on earth ( thats what they say ) to sit at the rooftop and talk together.jongdae then dragged youngdae to the club headquarters and leave the awkward jack ji together."to give them some alone time"he says

"yeseul-ah,need help with your homeworks?"
after school jongdae would force youngdae to stay in the headquarters.youngdae would either walk around awkwardly or helps yeseul with her homework.she would reject jongdae's offers ( more like forces ) to go to archery training.she rather be in the headquarters,tbh.because air conditioning whispers.

"youngdae-yah,teach the hoobaes please?"
in the archery club,the club president,kim himchan,always asks youngdae to train the newbies.well,that's probably because himchan is a lazy .but youngdae is too kind she said yes and trained the newbies.probably the favorite member in archery because she shoots like an expert and very ( too ) kind to help the newbies,and that she's pretty and and and she's nice c:

youngdae and youngji's favorite time of the whole day is in the afternoon,youngdae will prepare two huge bag of lays and cold chocolate milk ( because jackson drinks it a lot,youngdae and youngji somehow also obsessed with it ),the young sisters (thats what they say they were ) will sit down in front of the tv and watch some dramas,for the sad dramas youngji would prepare boxes of tissues.but in fridays,youngdae and youngji are not available in the dorm,they would go to the mall near the school to buy onesies for their sunday bonding

in 11 pm,both of them will go to sleep,youngdae will sometimes sings nina bobo and scared the out of youngji because of that ( she's traumatized- ) youngdae would apologize to youngji but keep on humming that song until they fell asleep.youngji hugging and biting her bolster ( because she thinks its a bread ) and youngdae hugging puff because puff is her baby

when youngdae is peacefully playing with puff and youngji were reading her daily magazine,jongdae knocked frantically at her door and kidnapping youngdae right when the girl opened the door,still in her pajamas.he dragged her to the hollaback headquarters,finding chanyeol sitting on a pile of couch cushion with yixing and yifan on both of his sides.still clear in her mind chanyeol said "aha,welcome to the holy hullabaek headquarters,young lady,wait,jongdae is that really your twin?not your girlfriend?" and jongdae laughed hysterically at the tall boy.

youngdae then awkwardly looked around,finding 1,2,3,4...14 pairs of eyes on her,she then introduced herself,feeling a bit suffocated being stared at like that "uhh...hi?m-my name is k-k-kim young d-dae and i'm j-jongdae's twin"she stuttered shyly,making minseok coos at her "omg she's so cute I kennot omg" minseok squealed,fanning himself like a fangirl,while the others stared in disbelief

"s-so she's really your twin?I thought she was your gf" luhan stammered "kim jongdae's forever alonenity will stay forever booyah~" baekhyun exclaimed from beside kyungsoo who's staring intently at youngdae.she started squirming uncomfortably on her spot,jongdae noticed that youngdae feels suffocated so he helped her by exclaiming loudly "Yah!stop staring at my sister like that,she'll gonna feel uncomfortable" making everyone averted their gazes from youngdae,except for kyungsoo who's still staring at youngdae with his kawaii o___o eyes

joonmyeon flashes youngdae his (literally) million dollar angelic smile and approached the awkward girl who's staring at him,this guy seems harmless,she thought as joonmyeon offered her his hand "kim joonmyeon,nice to meet you~" he said,shaking youngdae's hand,sending everyone his go-and-introduce-yourself-to-her look

chanyeol jumped ( yes jumped ) off the pile of cushion,letting th cushion tower fell messily on the floor and skipped happil towards youngdae "park chanyeol!the club president,nice to meet you,youngdae-yah~" he introduced himself happily,minseok shoved (yes shoves ) chanyeol away and beams brightly at youngdae "hi kawaii little one,kim minseok here~omo you're so cute~" minseok squealed

luhan pushed the fanboying minseok from youngdae's sight and flashes his -dropping ( what even i- ) smile "lu han here,you can call me luhan or lulu or sweetheart-" luhan stopped when he feels jongdae's glare from the pits of hell,ready to burn luhan alive.kris then walked flawlessly to youngdae,flipping his hair in the process "wu yfan,call me kris" he said to youngdae,who can only stare blankly at everyone "next?" youngdae asked innocently,making the boys laugh at kris's misery

yixing then approached youngdae,his dimples showing because of his smile,wow his smile is just-,youngdae smiled back at yixing who politely offered his hands to youngdae who gladly took it and shake it in delight "zhang yixing imnida~"he beams happily,making youngdae giggle at his cuteness

after yixing joined the others on the snack corner to fight over the cookies kyungsoo baked yesterday,yeseul dragged jongin with her "jang yeseul,nice to meet you" she said "k-kim jongin i-imnida" jongin stuttered,getting dragged again by yeseul to the cookie fight,baekhyun then dragged sehun with him and flashes his cute rectangle smile at youngdae "annyeong haseyo byun baekhyun imnida~" baekhyun beams at youngdae who gave him a small smile "and i am oh sehun,the maknae,nice to meet you!"sehun said,quickly dragging baek over to the cookie fight to get some kyungsoo's delicious cookies

tao then nudged the sleepy yeowang and drag her to the kim twins "i'm your romantic ab style panda,huang zitao imnida" tao bowed at youngdae "yong - yawns - yeowang imnida" yeowang said sleepily,getting dragged by tao to the cookies and slept on the sofa happily

youngdae looked at jongdae "is that all?" youngdae asked "wait lemme check" jongdae closed his eyes,putting his index finger on his forehead "ah!we forgot kyungsoo- where is he?" jongdae exclaimed,he felt a tap on his back,jongdae turned around and hugged youngdae in shock seeing kyungsoo standing there "holy shi-" galres from both kyungsoo and youngdae,no bad words jsy,they have that face on "holy shizzlepuffs" jongdae finished "you scared me,soo"

kyungsoo wordlessly walked in front of youngdae,suddenly puts a cookie in youngdae's gaping mouth."kyungsoo,do kyungsoo,nicetomeetyou" kyungsoo bowed,flashing her a small smile,running off to save his beloved cookies from the hungry piranhas hollaback kids who fights over the last jar of 5 jar of cookies kyungsoo made

 

the next week,Jongdae brought youngdae back to the headquarters because chanyeol find her a good addition to the club,another calm people isn't so bad,chanyeol says,and besides jongdae can watch youngdae more if she's in the club.youngdae happily accepted the offer at the thought that she can see her oppa more often and another someone...

"hey himchan,hi everyone,sorry for being late again"
youngdae usually comes late for the club meetings because she were held hostage forced to stay in the headquarters by jongdae and kyungsoo to just eat some of kyungsoo's delicious cookies for a few minutes before got sent away to the archery headquarters.she always bows to himchan and everyone every time she's late even though himchan says its okay,being the youngdae she is.

"okay so,youngdae,can you help the hoobaes?"
time to help the hoobaes.himchan will happily beg youngdae to help the hoobaes while he sleep in the boys changing room or go to cafeteria with zelo,his friend,to stuff their mouth with some food.youngdae is the hoobaes favorite,because she's just so nice and patient on helping them,some even gave youngdae presents in mother's day because they felt youngdae is like their second mother

after practice,youngdae would calmly go to the hollaback headquarters,forgetting about her wounded hand because of the practice.she forgot about it totally until joonmyeon and tao sarts crying while hugging each other,jongdae rushing to youngdae and grabbing her hands,kyungsoo frantically searching for plasters,and her reaction was only "...oh?I forgot it bleed" cue facepalm here

kyungsoo stares at youngdae ever since jongdae walked in- no,run in,with a very cute girl who seems surprised and awkward.he cant take his eyes off her,he was mesmerised by her smile and her twinkling doe eyes.when youngdae first took a glance at kyungsoo,she think that he's quite cute,but when he approached her to feed her cookies,she realized that she was charmed by his smile and huge eyes.he was the cutest boy youngdae ever seen,to be very honest.

youngdae was kinda surprised when kyungsoo also begged for her to stay in the headquarters before going to archery,he even bribed her with the cookies that kyungsoo fed her in their first meeting.she find his stuttering cute and couldn't hold her feels so she decided to stay for awhile.the power of kyungsoo's squishiness,everyone.

the girl becomes even more clumsier around kyungsoo,and she doesn't know why.she often tripped on her own feet,dropped something,and bumped onto kyungsoo.kyungsoo often found himself scolding his cute noona to be more careful next time,youngdae only grinned sheepishly at him with faint blush appearing on her cheeks.which,he find cute.

when everyone picks their favorite member of the club,kyungsoo picked youngdae as his favorite member.they exchanged shy smiles afterwards making minseok the ultimate kyungyoung shipper squeal hapily and fans himself due to too many feels of kyungyoung
