Okay, so I'm thinking of doing this sort of opinion column.

Think of it as my own personal newspaper in which I tell you about the things I care about when it comes to writing, and maybe some other poop on the side. 

You can say I drew inspiration for this from Haengbog (bomb- writer whom you should definitely go check out, please), although I havent read one of her Ranting & Raving posts in a long time. This will mainly be about things I observe on AFF with the stories I read, or things I think are cool about writing in general or things I discover that I'd like to share. This is a chance for us to interact, bond, possibly share an iced tea over a campfire in the near future. 

And of course this wouldn't be an authentic post if there wasn't some warning in big flashy red letters to ward of any misinterpretations. Plus some people really like them to feel at ease (including myself); and what kind of host would I be if I let my guest be uncomfortable? A ty one.

DISCLAIMER: I do not think I am the bomb.com, but I do know what I like and what I don't. This is just a way of me presenting that to other people. Because I absolutely love hearing myself talk and I am too shy of a person to actually do that out loud in real life. So, no I'm not the writing expert but I am opinionated, isn't that all that matters? (i'm partially kidding)

a little garnish never hurt

I am a light-hearted teenage girl and I'm sure if I were more physically active and cared for nature, I'd love long-walks on the beach and gazing up at the moon. But alas, my path of fate in my disposition has veered in the opposite direction. Two roads diverged in a wood -- and I took the road of lazy-, and that has made all the difference. Someone hand me my philosophical reading glasses because -- 's 'bout to go down; and I also have astigmatism but that's a story for a different day. 

My name is Nicole, and I absolutely hate being called Nicki. Hence the irony (or stupidity whichever you want to call it) in my username being NikkiG. I was like 15 when I made this account so cut me some slack. I am somewhat politically and socially involved, the extent being that I at least know the dynamics of national and international news and I can probably participate in a conversation about it.  I'm not smart and eloquent enough to give some serious insight though. I just like to talk about it so if you do too, please hit me up through PM.

Unfortunately I will be sending out my college applications soon so during this jolly month of December I will be posted on my laptop, letting the keyboard soak up my tears. Nevertheless I want to take a break from being so stressed out about what my future holds and all that existentialist bull that keeps me awake at night. That was just a joke, tumblr and youtube videos actually keep me up at night, and probably all that caffeine I drink, but ppffff... 'NOTHER STORY. 'NOTHER DAY.

Anyway, I can't think of anything else to tell you guys about myself so let's just wrap it up like a burrito right here. I hope you found any enjoyment in my hyperactive speech, maybe reccomend this blog to your friends and family. Because who doesn't want to hear a teenage girl ramble about very unimportant things. amiright? ladies? fellas?
