ONLY 3 PLAYERS LEFT

With season 3 of undoubtedly one of the best Korean shows ever coming to a close, there are only three players remaining! Some of the strongest 'Genius' players have come together for this season, and the top 3 of them are battling it out for the grand prize! Who's going to win? Is it going to be Oh Hyunmin, the netizen's favorite? Or will Jang Dongmin, the undoubtedly scariest player, take down his opponents? Or will we see an underdog reversal play by Choi Yeonsung?

LOOKING BACK

The previous two seasons of 'The Genius' have solidified the show in many different ways. Season one showed that intelligence and social skills are just as important, while season two demonstrated how ruthless people can be when it comes to money. Many people will agree that out of all seasons that have aired so far, season one was the best to watch when one wanted to see how inventive people can be when it comes to game strategy. Many people will also agree that season two showed us just what people are capable of doing to destroy each other... (if you have not watched these seasons yet, please click here to be redirected).

Season three so far has managed to get both elements from the previous mixed in, and not in a bad way. When it comes to watching individuals show off their skills and personalities, this season may be the best one yet. The players have demonstrated extraordinary skills; some of the strongest players have been eliminated very early on, and some of the weakest players have demonstrated unexpected abilities when they most needed it.

WHAT COMES NEXT?

If the previous two seasons are any indication of what is to come, here's what we can pretty much expect from the next episode:

 - No more alliances! At this point, the winner takes it all while the other two go to the death match.

 - Things won't go smooth! As the game outcome is very much decided by guests, it's highly unlikely anything will go according to our player's plans!

And the finals?

 - Three games - two death matches, one new game! As of right now, it seems that double-sided poker and memory maze are the most likely games to be played

 - Eliminees will decide! Just as in previous seasons, the more popular player among the eliminees will get an edge into the games!

 - The winner takes it all! The garnet count this season is the highest one so far - let's hope it gets even higher!

Whoever goes into the final round, we can expect a very intense battle of wits!

SO... WHO'S AS HYPED AS ME?
