In her twelve years, Miyoung heard a argument from her mother that broke her heart once and for all; "I wanted her to go away. Why can't we put her in an orphanage? Look what she did for us.". This was repeated in her mind hundreds of times, torturing her more and more. She cried every night, wondering if it was too much to ask to have a normal life. And so in her thirteenth year, exactly on the day of her birthday - that Miyoung assumes that they didn't even remembered - her parents took her to an orphanage near where she lived. Despite being so sad that her parents had the ability to do so with their own daughter, deep in her heart she felt relieved. It would be even more torturous stay in that house any longer. She knew at the orphanage, she could at least have some friends and maybe be adopted by a better family. That was her wish.
( 13 years old ~ 16 years old ) Her life has improved a lot compared to what it was before. Her personality totally changed and she became such a happy girl who became a great friend to everyone in the orphanage. She was glad she had friends and orphanage's employees that made her feel part of a big and beautiful family - something she never knew what it was -. She spent exactly three years in the orphanage, enjoying every second she spent there. At times, Miyoung thanked her parents for bringing her to the place that she thought was really cool. However, she still wanted to know how to be truly loved by her parents. In her 16 years, things continued to change when a couple asked to see Miyoung. It was the hundredth time someone visited her, but they always gave her a false hope, because they never came back again or they adopted another child. Her personality somehow intimidated everyone who wanted to see her and it made her sad, but she has not changed because of them. This couple, however, was different. A few days after the couple went to visit her, she received the great news that she had been finally adopted. When her adoptive parents came to pick her up, she excitedly and emotionally, said goodbye to everyone and thanked for having the proportionate a full joy. The only thing she did not like was the overprotection of them, but she definitely understand their concern, in fact she was the only daughter of them and they want her best.
