Hi guys! I need a little help here! Please suggest me places in Seoul!

Ok, more details:

Basically, My family and I will be visiting seoul for about 8days and we will be spending our Christmas and New Year Eve there. After some research I couldn't really find a family friendly place for our Christmas (eve) dinner and I will really appreciate if any of you suggest some places you have visited or heard from someone! :) 

Next, New year celebration! I know there are this very famous Temple(?) that hit the bell and some people suggested that we should head over to Seoul's Times Square to countdown. I think that going to STS to countdown is a great idea but the ticket fee cost a bomb (Around SGD$200/pax) but I will get to see well-known rapper like SAN E and Jay park as well as BTS! However, as I was saying before, family friendly. So, I don't think going STS to countdown is a smart idea :( So, once again (and shamelessly) do you guys have any idea or suggestion?
