» PERSONALITY

I dare to try anyone. - Brave is one thing that describes Jae Hwa. She is daring and is not afraid to do anything that's dangerous. She isn't scared of anything and is ready to face anything thrown at her and will not back out at all. She will stand up to anyone she feels like is a threat to her. She's not afraid at all to try the person, even if they're angry. She loves to push buttons just to test how furious one can get.

Why not flaunt what I have? - Jae Hwa is confident and she lets the whole world know it. She's confident in her body, her hair, pretty much everything. She will flaunt everything she's got and not be afraid at all. As long as she's comfortable in her own skin, she doesn't care about what others say about her. Jae Hwa has a high self-esteem, so whatever you say won't make her feel bad about herself. She knows what she wants and she will strive for it. She doesn't need the approval of others to do what she wants. And with good confidence, being a socialite comes with it. She knows how to talk to people and she loves to socialize with anyone she meets.

Just because I'm young, doesn't mean I'm stupid. - There's no question about it: Jae Hwa had been through some very bad difficulties, which is why she is able to learn from them. She know not to make the same mistake twice and she give the best advice. although she does indeed have troubles with following her own advice. When someone has problems, she tries her best to help them anyway she can, despite being known as a cold person.

Nothing's gonna stop me from getting what I want. - Jae Hwa has no plans of giving up on anything. She aims to be at the top and nothing will stop her. She will go out of her way just to accomplished what she has her mind set out on. She is very loyal, always sticking with those who she is attracted to, whether it is a companion or a friend. There is no way she will step out of one's life. She can't let that happen. However, because Jae Hwa tends to act out for her desires, her actions may lead to recklessness, causing those around her to be very distressed about her and the choices she makes. She tries hard to be careful, but most of the time, she doesn't think before doing, which ultimately makes Jae Hwa risk her life.

So what if I don't show what I feel? - Jae Hwa shows little to no emotion. Because she sees it as a weak point. She doesn't get to excited for anything, unless it's worth getting excited for. But don't get it twisted, she does have her moments n which she will indeed show some sort of sympathy and a caring nature, but it's only for those who she thinks deserves she should show those feelings for. Jae Hwa has troubles showing emotion as well, she just can't bring herself to do that unless she's doing it unconsciously. Jae Hwa wants to improve her emotions because she's tired of being called a heartless little girl by many who have crossed her path.

Yeah, I hurt feelings. I can't help it. - Jae Hwa is known notoriously for her mean stature. She has no filter and will say what she has to say, regardless of how her words make the person feel. It is who she is. She really don't care how bad the person's feelings are hurt., they should be able to take it. Everyone get's their feelings hurt, even herself, which is why she doesn't have a guilty bone in her body to apologize the that victim. Call her harsh, it doesn't matter to her. Everyone gets hurt all the time, right?

I know, I'm quite the contradiction. - Yes, Jae Hwa's a complete contradiction, One minute she doesn't care and the next she's feeling some type of sympathy. Most people would say she doesn't make sense as a person because she simply does not know what she wants to do with herself. She is mostly known to be narcissistic and heartless, but she has her fair share of being the complete opposite, when she wants to. She says she's a calm person, but sometimes her anger gets the best of her, especially if one were to to something completely annoying. Jae hwa hates the fact that she says she's one way but act another. I know what's best. You should listen to me. - Jae Hwa likes to believe that whatever she says is right and everyone should follow her directions. She refuses to be told what to do by other, instead she likes to tell people what to do because she sees herself as a natural born leader. She will listen to some people's opinions, but ultimately she will carry on with her plans. She loves telling people what to do. However, she doesn't want do be a dictator, but she's doing exactly what a dictator is doing. She listens well to constructive criticism. but if the number of flaws of her doing is wrong, she will no longer listen and continue going by the beat of her own drum.

» Background

Well, Jae Hwa had a pretty good childhood. Though she never actually been to China for the first couple of years of her life because her mother would always keep her at home, her father did make her learn Chinese because of his enthnicity and she has chinese blood in her. He felt it was only right that she was taught Chinese. When she got home from school, if her dad was at home, he would teach her Chinese everyday or he would take her to her aunt's house and she'll learn from there. And because her family on her dad's side came to visit often, she had no choice but to speak their language. She's still learning to this day.

Her family had a good amount of money, so they never had any worries to think about. But then, Jae Hwa reached the age of 10 and her mother began gambling. She was talked into gmabling by some local casino owner. He was very persuasive and she was convinced and then got hooked on it. At first, Jae Hwa nor her father had a single clue about it. Soon her father realized the large amount of money disappearing out of his bank account and soon enough, it diminished greatly. Her father confronted her mother about the money, and then her mother admitted to spending the money to help her gambling problems. That's when the trouble began.

The night he found out was the night Jae Hwa's parents started fighting. Jae Hwa's father tried to force the mom to go to rehab, but it took several months before she went and got help. She left for about a year before she could go home. While she was in rehabilitation, Jae Hwa and her father was facing their own problems. Jae Hwa now could never do anything to make him proud and he would always yell at her and throw tons of things at her, ranging from dishes and pans to books and shoes. This resulted in Jae Hwa running away. She had abandoned her home for about two good weeks before returning home. She stayed with her best friend, Hye Jeong during the time.

At that time, Her aunt suggested that Jae Hwa moved to China and live with her for a couple of years. Of course she accepted and opened the news to her father, whom didn't seem to care. He dropped her off at the airport and left her there to catch her flight. Jae Hwa was happy at that moment because she would get away from all the drama that was always hitting her. She would've spent the rest of her childhood in China.

While lving with her aunt, Jae Hwa got a bit more freedom to do what she actually wanted and she made a tight bond with her auntie. She got to learn more about the culture she could never experience and her eyes were open to many new things dealing with the Chinese culture itself. Jae Hwa enjoyed the freash new air she got to breath and soon then the years seemed to go by fast. Jae Hwa would soon be going back to South Korea in a couple of more years, and she did not like that idea at all. She would have done anything to stay in China, but unfortunately, her aunt said she had to go back one day and try to do something more successful with her life, as Korea has more opportunities and she had to go back to knowing her mother's roots before she forgot her culture.

By the time she was 15, there was an SM global audition while she was still in China. Of course she wanted to attend, so she did. Her aunt really didn't like the ideas of her trying to be an idol. She was scared that she was going to be pressured to do horrible things, lke get plastice surgery(which later on in her life, she did) and become unhealthy like what she heard entertainment businesses do to their trainees and celebrities. Buy Jae hwa assured her that everything would be okay and she had nothing to worry about. she she proceeded to go on with the auditions.

During the auditions, Jae Hwa showed off her dancing skills, because it was what she was best at. then she did her rapping and a little bit of singing. Of course, Jae Hwa wasn't nervous at all and she showed all that she had to prove worthy to be a ttrainee at SM and made the rounds. But it was only because they liked her looks. They thought she could undergo some surgery, nothing minor and she will take the Hallyu wave by storm. Once she was accepted, she moved back to Korea to pursue her career of stardom. but then two years later, she was tranferred to awoolim Entertainment because she felt as if she didn't fit in with the idols/trainees at SM. She wanted a company that was like a family.

When she entered Woolim, everyone there treated her as if she was family immediately. Of course there were some people to didn't or couldn't stand her, but that was okay, as long as if didn't feel like she had just a work relationship with everyone. She trained for five more years until the day she would be considered to debut in a girl group.

» PERSONALITY

Jang Dongwoo is an out spoken person. he's very loud, and accordng to Jae Hwa, he's annyoying as hell! He talks non stop and he has no filter. Whatever comes out of his mouth can not be taken back. It s what it is with this guy. Another thing, Dongwoo loves a challenge, wheter it's hitting on a girl, or doing the impossible, he will accept the diificulties.

He doesn't get mad easily, he's a very calm dude. Dongwoo thinks that there is really no real reason to get angry at anything, thinking that most people would get worked up for nothing at all and they shouldn't let then little things bother them. With that, he tries to make people happy anyway he can. He hates to see people on a bad day.

Dongwoo is very goofy, always making those around him smile and laugh, even those who don't smile often. His crazy antics will make anyone look at him and wonder what made God put a person like him on earth. He just has that aura that make people's day. Even though he is crazy and goofy, Dongwoo won't overdo his silliness. If there is someone who really isn't in the mood to joke around and laugh, he'll take note of that and leave that person alone until another day.

If anything, Dongwoo is a very friendly guy, always nice and reassuring people that he is the person to come to if they are in need of a shoulder to cry on, or just talk to. However, there are sometimes in which his kindness is indeed taken for granted. For example, someone asked Dongwoo for some money and of coursehe gives them the money. The person never paid him back, which is why he is very cautious. He learned to be aware of who he befriends, just so that he would not be screwed over again.

 Dongwoo is reckless, for he really just does anything without thinking. This gets him in trouble a lot, sadly. There's no real reason as to why he is the way he is, but he just says that it could be because his past life was a Tyrannosaurus Rex. By anyway, Dongwoo speaks without thinking, thus having no filter when he speaks. He moves on instinct and does not think about the consequences at all, who does tend to lead him in to trouble. Even though he tries to be careful, he still fails and somehow puts himself in bad predicaments.

» INTERACTIONS

Jae Hwa wants to like Dongwoo, she really wants to, but she can't bring herself to do so. For one, the boy does not know how to think before he speaks; he always spews something that's whether flirtatious or insulting, resulting in Jae Hwa getting angry at him. Secondly, he talks too much. She does not know whether or not if she wants to kill him or just rip her ears off. She is always trying her best not to go off on him and hurt his feelings, because in a way because the is always there for her and there is no one who has told her like it is like Dongwoo does. She doesn't have major problem with him, she just wishes he would whatch what he says and think before he speaks.

Dongwoo, likes Jae Hwa, but only sometimes. He wishes she could talk to him and not be so distant towards him and he wishes that she weren't so mean. If she wasn't mean, he would like her more. He thinks that she is a big contradiction of herself. Dongwoo explains it as if she says that she's not emotional, but she ends up crying a river at the littlest things, or she shows no emotion but she's the most sensitive person off the face of the earth. He enjoys playing with Jae Hwa and teasing her, but he gets hit in the end and that leads to them arguing.

So all in all, Jae Hwa sometimes wants to push Dongwoo off a bridge, Dongwoo wants to slap the meanness out of her so she can be nicer, and they both like each other in a friendly way. Dongwoo is always messing with the girl and Jae Hwa is always hitting the boy. They argue at least once a day, depending on what dongwoo does or say, and then they attempt to make up, which may or may not work all the time. Jae Hwa loves to test Dongwoo, seeing that he is the type of person that doesn't get mad easily. She sometimes does a lot of things he hates, such as giving him something instead of what he wants, or just continues to be mean to him. It works at leat 75% of the time, but no matter what happens, she doesn't care. Dongwoo is a person who will forgive easily.
