I dunno why I suddenly thought of this, but for some reason it came back to me. You know, when you just think back to those movies or songs that mean a lot to you, whether they're your favourite or not. This book was one of them for me. When I was younger and the library's fiction-aisle was my safe haven from insanity, I was more into magic and medieval times, but this story stood out as a favourite.

I can't believe I had no problem checking it out of the library lol. The librarian musta thought I was bonkers >.< But gosh, I loved that book. It wasn't just about those two boys, the town itself was so well described and pshhhh... Here's the summary of the book;

This is the story of Paul, a sophomore at a high school like no other: The cheerleaders ride Harleys, the homecoming queen used to be a guy named Daryl (she now prefers Infinite Darlene and is also the star quarterback), and the gay-straight alliance was formed to help the straight kids learn how to dance.

When Paul meets Noah, he thinks he’s found the one his heart is made for. Until he blows it. The school bookie says the odds are 12-to-1 against him getting Noah back, but Paul’s not giving up without playing his love really loud.
