» PERSONALITY

Haera loves having fun and letting loose. Kind of a side effect from her childhood, she doesn’t want to be told how to act anymore. Haera loves involving people in when she’s having fun. She would never leave anyone out and won’t leave someone alone till they’re having fun too. Believe it or not, but Haera is a friendly person. She tries to make someone feel welcome and having a good time. You could describe her as being the life of the party. Although, she may not show it but she is a caring. She has your back. Haera is determined at getting what she wants and will work hard to get it.

The bad side of Haera is because she was brought in a wealthy environment she is whiny. She will whine to get her way. Usually the members ignore her. She is stubborn and once her mind is made up on something than there’s no way on changing it. Haera can be impatient. If she doesn’t get something right away than she can get quite fussy and irritated.

» Background

Lee Haera was born and raised in Gangnam, Seoul, Korea on August 28, 1993. She grew up into a prestigious rich family. Her parents were a successful couple with her father being a famous fashion designer and her mother being a retired model who is now a housewife. Haera is the only child and always had things in her life handed to her. During Haera’s childhood she barely had seen her father since he was always doing business trips and showcasing his new fashion lines. Haera was around her mother more than anything. She was taught at a younger age to keep up a good image and not to tarnish the family’s name. Haera was often told what to do, what to wear, and how to act so she wouldn’t embarrass herself in front her parent’s important dinner guess.

Haera often hated acting so polite and so perfect because she wasn’t. At a young age she knew she was different when she admired the beauty of a girl more than boy. One time when Haera had a play date with the daughter of her father’s client she commented that she was beautiful. After that she was scolded and her father told her to “stop with your foolish behavior”.

When Haera was 16. She went abroad and studied in America. There she had a culture shock. American culture was different than Korean culture; everything was out in the open. Ladies weren’t judged for drinking or smoking excessively and people weren’t as affectionate unless you were a couple. Everything to her was out in the open even same gendered couples. Haera always felt weird when she was more attracted to girls than boys. She always thought they were more attractive than boys. She use to think something was wrong with her that’s when she started getting confused. Haera had her first ever girlfriend after she had a small fling with a girl name Taylor while attending school. After that, she started really accepting the fact that she was a lesbian but she knew she had to keep it a secret from her parents. She knew American society and Korean society was different.  

After spending two years in America, Haera went back to Seoul as a new person. She loved rap music and became interested in it when she listens to a few American songs. Haera was louder and vibrant, gone was the polite and obedient child. Haera become more interested in rap when she listened to BEG’s Abracadabra. She loved Miryo’s ability to wrap so fast which motivated Haera to practice her rap skills. Her parents weren’t happy about this and told her to “get those foolish ideas out of her head”. Haera ignored them, Haera soon found out about Big Hit Entertainment was having audition and Haera went under her parent’s nose to audition.

After a few weeks, Haera was accepted into Big Hit and this upset her parents. Her father muttered “You are wasting your time, your my only heir.” while she packed her bags to move into the dorms. Her parents refused to speak to her and never ever acknowledge her presence when she’s around. Although weirdly enough they never cut off her funds.Her mother was the first to break after three weeks of not hearing from Haera. Usually her mother calls once every month.

Haera trained for 4 years. Trainee life was hard for her since she wanted everything handed to her. When trainees starting picking on her saying ‘she was useless and got in here because of her name’ Haera trained harder so she could prove them wrong, she stayed after to train on her vocals and dancing numbers. Her ability to rap increase as she learned to keep the rhythm and fluidness.

» QUESTIONS

Haera would like more than anything to come out but she doesn't want to already dissappoint her parents. She also doesn't want to hurt her groups reputation and their chance at getting bigger. She had one relationship with a girl while she was studying abroad in America. It was kind of like a break through of who she was was and figuring out her uality. Haera doesn't really care for men, she never had a problem with them.

Hyuna is very playful and loves teasing someone. She loves a good joke. Hyuna had a dorky sense of humor and sometimes her jokes are lame. She gets along with almost anyone. She is very talkative and loves to talk all the time. Hyuna is a cheerful person and tries to make anyone comfortable. She's not afriad of showing skinship. She is a perfectionist and hardworking. Hyuna always wants everything done right and pushes herself to do better. Although Hyuna is a very happy personality, she is sensitive. She doesn't hide her feelings well.

» INTERACTIONS

They act like bestfriends. They always talk and try to spend time together when they aren't busy. Hyuna has a crush on Haera but Haera is kind of hesitant to even do anything. Hyuna and Haera like to take strolls along the park and talk or they might go shopping. They both have matching necklaces.
