I lived with you for seven whole years after I was born since mom and dad had to travel around for their work. You and grandpa were my second set of parents and I was your angel. Hence my nickname, Pari, which means fairy in Hindi. 

I called you Nee since I couldn't pronounce granny and I called him Pa since I couldn't say grandpa.

Now you're gone Nee and I'm empty.

It's very hard and you probably know that somewhere from the sky as you are watching me right now.

I want to say a big ol' thank you for being my second mom. For looking after me and for being there for me, always. You called every week from India to check up on me and how I was doing. There were times when you were so tired, yet you called and spoke to me for hours.

I need you to let me know that you're okay in heaven. Give me some sort of a sign, please, to help me move on. Be it in a dream or something else but please let me know that you aren't suffering anymore.

I <3 you with a bigger heart than I have and you will always be remembered.

I miss you and your presence, your smile, your laugh, and your caring nature.

You were the best grandma ever and I love you a lot Nee.
