BACKGROUND +
Soohyun was born in Los Angeles just like her two older brothers. Both of her parents are korean and average people that work in a restaurant in L.A. Soohyun's parents met in Los Angeles, both of them were poor so they decided to go to America to have a better life. While Soohyun's father went there easily, her mother had to pass through a lot of hardships to reach there. After a few years there both of them met, fell in love and had three children after some years, being Soohyun the only girl and the youngest from them. With the first to kids, her parents learned that if they were not coming back to South Korea soon, they needed their children to learn and not forget korean since the second son forgot almost all of it but the older one can still speak although not fluently so when Soohyun was borned, she spoke korean when she was at home and english when she was with her friends or at school. Her friends found it a little bit weird though because Soohyun doesn't really like to talk in korean at school since she thinks it's weird to talk in korean without korean people.

Soohyun started liking music when she was about 8. Her parents would show her some classical music and also some korean ballads. After when they saw her growing passion for music, the decided to let her take piano lessons which Soohyun liked a lot and a year after she also started taking guitar lessons. After some months, she also started taking singing lessons when her music teacher said that Soohyun had a good voice. It was when Soohyun was 10, she started listening to K-Pop which she found out when she was surfing in the internet seeing the lastest pop music and suddendly she saw something asian in the search list. She thought it was something korean or something so she clicked. It was a Girl's Generation 'Into The World', she liked the beat although she didn't understand nothing. Soohyun searched about the group then other groups and everything related to K-Pop.

When she learned almost everything about idols, trainees, the big companies and how the auditions worked she decided to take a give it a try. Soohyun made an audition for SM in 2009 since they were going to make global auditions on that year and, luckily, she passed. Her parents were a bit against it because she had to move to another country alone but they let her go anyway because she insisted a lot. Her dad worried went with her in case she didn't got accepted which didn't happened. Soohyun also enrolled in Seoul Of Performing Arts since her parents didn't want her to drop school.

PERSONALITY +
Soohyun is always very energetic and cheerful. Likes to enjoy herself and is happy all the time, since the early day until the late night. It's really unusual to she see her sad or crying. If crying it maybe from happiness. Soohyun is a lively girl. She's very active and thinks that her life must be lived at the fullest and to her the fullest is all the happy and funny things it happened or will happen in her life, so Soohyun usually just thinks about those moments that makes her laugh. People around her tend always to have a smile placed on their faces because of Soohyun's jokes and pranks. A very optimistic girl, expects all the best of the best in every situation. Soohyun tend to be very positive about everything, when everyone is thinking about the worst she always manages to find the good thing about it and usually makes everyone laugh because her ideas are always weird. Soohyun is also an easy-going girl and doesn't really care much about things and one of them are what people think about her, she just ignores them or just goes along with them laughing at anything they say, but there are times where she's really laughing because she finds herself funny.

Soohyun may be a little bit lazy about somethings, it's rare to see her working, but if she's really determinated to do something she makes up her mind and will accomplish that no matter how hard it is. She likes to watch people that's why she is good at reading people specially the ones that she's closest to. She knows them really well. Knows what they like to do, things they like, etc. That makes her say what they think beforehand and don't let them talk which annoys everyone. Soohyun is also a girl that gets distracted easily. When she's doing something or going somewhere if she gets distracted by something she forgets what she was doing and ends up not doing it. When this happens she always has the felling that she forgot about something and ends up remembering when she's in the middle of a conversation. The person usually is shocked because Soohyun shouts an 'Ah!' out of nowhere. No one can ask her to do something because of her distration problem but most of the time is because she doesn't want to do it, since she's lazy, and pretend that she didn't hear it or that she forgot as an excuse. Soohyun has this habit of lying, more than lying is more like bluffing, since when she was young. There's no way we can know if she's saying the truth. It's better not to believe in everything she says or else it will make you very disappointed although 'lying' sometimes helps her get out of scary situations or get out from troubles.

There were a few times when her friends also told her that she was weird because when she is immersed with her thoughts then she remembers something and starts laughing by herself even if she's alone with a million people around or when she starts yelling at her phone because it's not working even a tree if she hurt herself on it. Soohyun is also full of herself, specially if someone praises her, she feels like she's the best in the world and starts showing off all her good and bad things that she thinks that are good but it doesn't mean that she will hurt someone. Another flaw Soohyun has is being an irresponsible person. She forgets easily about assignments and sometimes doesn't care about the consequences of her actions. Being a very lively girl, might sound that she's very childish, but not, she can also be serious when it's needed. If there's something wrong and no one can be poisoned by her happy side, instead of trying to find the best way about it, she tries her best to help and solve the matter. If she's has her showing off mode on, Soohyun usually turns it off. Soohyun's also very competitive, specially in sports, since she thinks that she's good at it, or in things that she's good at. Of course being a competitive girl she doesn't like to lose.

Lee Soo Hyun

was born on NOVEMBER 24, 1997 from a KOREAN father and a KOREAN mother in Los angeles. Currently 17 years old, she grew up in LOS ANGELES thus making her fluent in eNGLISH. Standing at 170cm for 50kg, character name is notably known for looking like GIRLS' DAY Minah or even sometimes iu.

PERSONALITY +
Mark is a quiet guy at first that isn't really good at expressing himself. He just starts talking and joking around when he gets more comfortable around people he just met. With people he already knows he usually talks more often, it's more playful and teases them a lot but he also takes good care of them. He's a trustworthy and reliable man, helps a friend in any possible way whenever he/she feels down. Also a very sweet and caring guy that will do anything for his special one. He'll be quite fluffly and cheesy around her though. Although he's quite, he a little bit too excited when he's doing things he enjoys doing. He likes to laugh even though he isn’t usually the one making the joke, but if he finds something funny he won’t hesitate to let us know. Mark's also supportive. He thinks before speaking, is to the point, logical, and doesn't make careless remarks even if he doesn't agree with someone. A possible bad point about Mark it's, when he starts meets someone new, since he's quiet, he doesn't really gives his opinion and doesn't talk much which may make the situation a bit awkward to the other person.

RELATIONSHIP + Close Friends
Since they know each other since Soohyun was 11, Mark thought of Soohyun like a little sister to him which changed when he learned from her when she went back to Korea. Since Soohyun used to be loud and wear those girly clothes that her father choose for her to wear, Mark always thought she was like a cute little girl like any other he saw in the street but Soohyun was his friends' sister, that was the only difference.

Mark would pat Soohyun's head a lot and still has this habit just to mess up with her since he knows that she hates it since she was a kid because she doesn't like to see her hair messed up. Mark likes to pick up on Soohyun a lot like how he does to s but with her it's really a lot. He likes to see her annoyed expression, finds it cute. But he also helps her a lot, like when Soohyun had to learn Korean, he's also not really good at it though but good enough to teach Soohyun. Soohyun thinks that Mark is someone she can rely on and trust and wants him to stay by her side for the rest of her life. She's always happy and smiling whenever she sees him. Soohyun has a crush on him but she thinks that she's just feeling like that because she knows him since she was young. They used to hang out when they were trainees but after Mark's debut, they couldn't do it so they made a promise that when Soohyun debut they would meet in backstage of some music show and give each other a their favorite food.

HISTORY +
Mark and Soohyun's older brother, John, were classmates since middle school. So, they would hang out a lot since they were like born in America but both asians. But Soohyun met Mark, when he was in high school and went to her house, since he made plans that day with John. Since Soohyun was just 11 at that time, Mark thought she was very cute and got along well with her.
