Appearance: Minjin has several scars on his body. These include a long gash on his palm from when Huunjin pushed him into a pile of broken glass, as well as scars of scartches and burns from when his brother was feeling bored. Minjin has one piercing on his left year and three on his right, which he wears small black studs through. As for tattoos, he has one of an anchor on his right wrist.
Style:Being your typical teenage boy, if Minjin had a choice, he would just wear T-shirts with , hoodies, jeans and sneakers all the time. He does anyway, always being clad in them whether while on fim or while simply relaxing off stage. But when he absolutely has to, for formal events, he just switches that hoodie for a proper jacket, and usually those jeans too, for something a bit more formal (etc).He'll still wear sneakers though, just maybe not such a vibrant colour. As for accessories, he usually just throws on a cap or a beanie and sometimes a pair of fake glasses.But one thing is always constant, and that is the presence of leather bands around his wrist (etc etc), the fact that his hair is either a very bright colour or at least has coloured streaks.

Personality:If there's something Minjin loves more than anything else, it's attention, both positive and negative. He practically lives off it, and is only at his happiest when in the spotlight. From being the first to volunteer for the craziest stunts to being the only one willing to wear those extremely weird costumes the stylists sometimes come up with, Minjin does it all for the attention. Most people know him as that one guy who's up for anything, and it's a reputation Minjin lives up to, taking on even the most craziest of dares. He does anything, really, as long as it gets him the attention he wants.

Minjin might also not be as smart as his older brother, but he still is quite intelligent, just not in the areas that matter. While he can't solve math problems or spew sciene facts at will, he is able to think fast and flexibly, coming up with ideas and solutions that can get him out of tricky situations or get him something he wants. He thinks through things faster than avergae, and is able to come up with witty answers in recored time. He's also someone who gets bored easily, and is always toying with people, screwing with their minds and emotions.

He's also really sociable, always flitting around and chatting with others. He's good at reading people, and knows just what to say in any kind of situation. With a sweet smile and sweeter words, Minjin is capable of charming and subtly bullying victims to giving and doing whatever he wants. He also uses his charm to seduce his way into the beds of others.

But hidden behind that innocent smile, is something darker. Starved for attention and love, especially from his parents as well as a want to have revenge on his brother, Minjin only does what he does to get his family to notice his success. He'll climb however high he needs, and do whatever it takes. But in the meantime, the public's attention is enough, and as for love, he has plenty of people who'll grant him that, even if only for a short while.

Despite all the people he regularly spends time around, however, Minjin is still quite a secretive person. He keeps things to himself, never telling anyone even if he's sick or too tired to continue. He also prefers to keep any problems to himself as he has the mindset that any weakness he shows will be exploited to kick him out and dash any chances of his parents finally noticing him. As such, he always grits his teeth and deals with whatever is thrown his way, even if it just about kills him.

Background:Minjin was born to a fairly average family. His family consisted of his parents, himself and his older brother of 4 years, Soo Hyunjin.

Since young, it was clear that Minjin was talented in the performing department, especially that of dancing. He was always the star of school plays, was the ace of the choir, and shot several commercials as a young child. Meanwhile, Hyunjin was the useless older brother, always getiing Fs in school, getting into the wrong company and generally causing more trouble than he was worth. However, depsite all this, Hyunjin still played the role of the cruel older brother, tormenting his younger brother by humiliating him publicly in school, breaking his toys, blaming problems on him, among many other things.

It was actually no surprise that Minjin was the favoured brother. His parents showed their favouritism openly, showering him with love and all that he desired; never scolding him even when he did something wrong; showing up to all his performances without fail. For 8 years, the life of the favourite child was one Minjin led, and he loved it; loved how he could get revenge on his brother by flaunting their parents' love for him. Then it all changed when Hyunjin ended up being sentenced to spend several weeks in a boys' home after being caught shoplifting. When he came back, he was a changed person, he vowed to change for the better, and change he did.

From then on, Hyunjin became so hardworking, so obedient. He came home with increasing good scores, joined sports teams and became the ace, and slowly but surely, he became the favourite. But one thing never changed, and that was Hyunjin's love for torturing his brother, if anything it became worse as Hyunjin needed somewhere to release all that energy once spent doing evil.

Before long, Minjin was forgotten, tossed aside and ignored. He was subjected to being pressured to become like his brother, often had Hyunjin's successes shoved in his face. His parents stopped turning up for his performances, opting instead to go to Hyunjin's many events. And he hated it. He wanted to be in the spotlight again, wanted his parents' unconditional love again and he would show exactly how much better he was than Hyunjin. Minjin's life started going into a downward spiral. Once a cheerful boy, he became bitter, doing anything for attention. He slept around, got addicted to alcohol and started smoking but if anything, this just made his parents ignore him more as they were determined to hide the one blemish in their otherwise perfect family.

Finally, he realized, if he were to get the spotlight back, he needed to prove he was better than Hyunjin, and although he was definitely not smarted than his brother, he was more talented at performing. Thus, he sought to join the entertainment world, aand even though his parents were skeptical that he would even make it, he ran off to join a company anyway.

Interaction: In the presence of others, the two appear to have the typical close brotherly relationship,  play fighting and friendly bickering a common occurence. But in private, the play fights and innocent bickering changes into things more deadly, with them shoving each other around violently without a care for injuries caused.and downright screaming curses and insults at each other. Hyunjin always has the upper hand though, and fights usually end up Minjin injured and Hyunjin gloating over him. Hyunjin also loves to take advantage of Minjin's inability to fight back to do whatever he wants to him, from taking and destroying his things, to letting his friends do whatever they want to Minjin.
Why are you Rivals: When they were kids, Minjin had been the favoured brother and had gotten a tad too addicted to the spotlight and favouritsm. When his brother started to change to become a better person, their parents started to favour him more and started to cast Minjin aside more and more. This led to Minjin resenting his brother more, and he vows to one day show his parents he is better than his brother, as well to steal back the spotlight. Another reason is revenge. Hyunjin had spent his childhood tormenting Minjin and even now that has not changed. Now, all Minjin wants is to get back at his brother while Hyunjin is determined not to let him do so.

How You Met: You know how they say the world is a small place? Well, it is. When Minjin was a kid, Yongguk was just that socially awkward boy who lived a few streets away. But they aren't childhood friends, after all, Yongguk was one of Hyunjin's close friends and followers. In fact, Yongguk often took part in Hyunjin's tormenting of his little brother. Needless to say, Minjin grew up hating this guy. Fast forward a few years, and Yongguk has debuted and is secretly in a relationship with none other that his old friend, Hyunjin who is hopelessly in love with him. Minjin, meanwhile, is still determined to get revenge on his brother and what better way than to seduce Hyunjin's boyfriend?
Interaction: The two of them know each other, and are seen to be quite close in a socially acceptable way, on the outside. However, behind the scenes, the two of them are engaged in more inappropriate behaviours, with Yongguk often shamelessly staring at and mentally undressing Minjin and Minjin brazenly flirting with him. Whenever the two of them are together, be it at official events or when they meet up (which is quite often), they often engage in skinship and are seen whispering to each other all the time with sly smiles on their faces.

Trainee Years: 2 years with YG, 1 year with Esquire Entertainment 
Trainee Background: During the two years at YG, Minjin had to face the reality that he was not as talented as other individuals. He was often ridiculed and bullied as there was very little chance he would ever be picked to debut. Despite this, Minjin was very diligent and continued to work extremely hard, never speaking out for himself for fear of being kicked out. The other trainees somehow caught onto this, and often used him as a slave, ordering him around and sometimes even using him as an outlet to release stress. Eventually, Minjin was caught having in the bathroom, and when confronted, his partner had pinned the blame on Minjin, saying he had been blackmailed into having . The higher ups of course did not believe this but it had confirmed their fears that Minjin was being bullied, and as they too knew that Minjin would have a chance of debuting if he joined another company, they advised  him to do so, which led to his joining Esquire Entertainment .
