Pie was born on October 12, 1996 in Seoul, South Korea. Her family is consists with her parents and two older brothers. She was the third and the youngest in her siblings. Her father worked as a musician while her mother a florist and has her own flower shop. Her eldest brother worked as photographer and her second brother (D.o) is an idol from popular group named as Exo. In her family, she only close with her mother and two brothers. She didn't likes her father because he always serious. At home, she was taught with two languages that are korean and english. So she can speaks two languages.

She was studied at Seoul High School. At school, she was intelligent. About her interest, she likes to dance since she was 4. She has that talent since that age. But she wanted to be a fashion designer before and has changed it when she watched Snsd's Gee MV. She really attracted to their voice and dance step. She tried to copy the dance step and she did it then she show it to her mom and brothers. Her brother told her to make a video and send to Youtube. She also tried to sing. She agreed with her brother and make a video. Besides dance and sing, she can rap too. It happened when her brother 'D.o' told her to listen to Eminem song. She remembered the lyrics and rap too. So, she decided to send dance,sing and rap video to Youtube. A week later, she got a comment by SM Entertainment that she was called to be a trainee in that company. Her brother accompanied her went to the company since he was from that company too. Many problems happened when she was a trainee. Then, she was chosen to debut in New-GG. Now, she lived with the girls in the dorm.

trainee life: During she was a trainee. She has been through many obstacles. She likes to eat but when being a trainee, she rarely eat and have to eat followed the schedule. There was a time, she secretly eat at midnight without the trainer known. She always sick and had a fever about a week. She had to stop awhile from training and rest at hospital. However, she was the one of best trainee because she can sing, dance and rap. There're nothing she can't do. She also was known as Multi-Talents. She thinks that trainee life was really hard to her but at the same time, she felt very happy and had so much fun.

No. The joke he released maybe really nonsense, but the reactions of the people who were there to see him crack a ”funny” joke are totally EPIC. And that’s the thing that makes him really funny.Among all the members of VIXX, i can honestly say that he sets the mood of everybody. He is very talkative. N, the leader of the group, may be a real noisy person, but i think Ken is a million {no, a zillion} times more of a chatterbox compared to N. He talks a lot, and he exerts effort to keep everybody jolly. Everytime you watch him crack some jokes, you can never avoid smiling.
interactions: Ken and Pie are so close to one another. They would be mistaken as a couple. Both of them had feeling to each other but they hide it. Also, Ken is often overly-protective of Pie sometimes. Pie also asks some advices how to sing better from Ken.
how you meet/met: They met during Music Bank backstage. That time, Pie was still a trainee. She got backstage pass and met VIXX. She is Starlights (Vixx's fandom). Among the members, Ken was the one that stunned after met Pie. It same as 'First sight love'. She got a chance to talk and know them. Before she going back, Ken gave his phone number and that day, they automatically became friends.
