I for one feel bad for him. He never approached Gillian in some gold digging way like everyone's saying, they met because their companies became business partners. And he didn't dump her either, Gillian said herself it was because of many minor incidents. Like how she couldn't hang out with him and his friends because she couldn't understand Korean and schedule clashes. He would be in America and she in China. How many couples do we hear break up because of distance in the K-pop world? Dozens. That guy in "'Its okay, its Love" broke up with his girlfriend Minhee for exactly that reason too, they naturally drifted apart. Just because he looks shady and creepy doesn't mean he is. And to say those things about him is disrespecting Jessica and not trusting her to make a good choice.
The difference in writing style is odd but its nothing major. She couldn't write the same way she would write for an official statement, it would look unprofessional. Probably her lawer wrote it or after counsalting with experts uploaded it. She has to be careful and get as much information out in a few words, what's the big deal?
We can't choose whom we will fall in love with right? And so does Jessica. I know she could do better but that's her heart to choose.
