I saw another author who self-published two of her fics and I wondered if she can be featured in Author Spotlight. So I asked the person-in-charge: Boss Nichiren.

Keeper asks: "I am just curious. How do you pick the member to be featured in Author Spotlight? Is there a criteria and a panel or can we suggest an author? The common requirement I've seen so far is having published novels or books."

So criteria is, according to Boss Nichi:

1) published a book that must be available on Amazon
2) send me a video of themselves talking about their book and
3) they have to ask me directly (both of them e-mailed the [email protected] account)
 

"It's not really meant to be an ongoing AFF thing. I just did it to help them out which is why I'm not actively seeking new authors to spotlight unless I'm asked. Hope that info helps!" - Boss Nichi
