Tatia is a motivator. She looks at the larger picture rather than the currant moment, so she is good at leaving things undone. She enjoys taking risks and will do what she wants, even if others think she is crazy for doing it. She always has her friends backs, even in the hardest times. She loves independance, freedom and fun. She can be truely fearless when she needs to be. She can turn her own emotions off if someone needs her. She will fight for what she belives in. 

Tatia uses a filter on her coffee, not . She doesnt sugar coat things, even if they are painful. She is not a fan of bullsh*t, ever. Dont mess with her, she wont mess with you. Whens she gets angry it is best to stay out of her way, she is like a tornado mixed with a hurricane. If you piss her off enough, she will forget that you exist. She is very good at distancing herself from people. She often doesnt show her true emotions, they are unneeded and in the way. 

Tatia belives in ghosts and spirits, very deeply. It is one of the things that keeps her going. 

Tatiana never knew anything about her family. She was dropped off on the front door of a police station when she was days old. She was brought to the Children's Home of the Abandond or Neglected. CHAN was the largest orphanage in Guarda and Tatiana lived there untill she was five. She was old enoguh to speak the language and remember eveything when she was adopted by Cloe and Marcio Porras.

The Porras took Tatiana, now called Carmella, to their home in Barcelona. Tatiana took to the new location quickly. She really liked, she thought she had a family now. She was wrong, but she thought she did. When she was seven, the Porras announced to their family they were pregnant. Cloe's mother looked down at Tatiana and asked what they were going to do with the forgen runt. It was then that she learned to hide her emotions well. Cloe and Marcio brought her to an orphanage in Madrid the next day. She was only there for a few months before a family from Annecy France came by. 

Jeremie and Alix Belrose had two children at home, but both were about to go off to college. They were travling and saw Tatiana running the streets with other children from the orphanage and they adopted her. Her name bacame Susanne and she hated her new family. She really had to study to learn French, but by the time she left the Belrose house she had it down. 

Tatiana crossed the boarder into Switzerland where she was picked up almost right away. She refused to tell the police anything, so they simply put her into another orphanage. She was ten when she met Minna and Andreas Wagner. They were a German couple looking for an international child to adopt. She really liked them, but there was a catch to living with them. They were criminals. 

She lived with the Wagners for three years and they were some of the best years of her life. She loved the fun, young German couple. They lived in Wiesbaden Germany, but they never did any crimes in their home town. They were teaching Kristine(the name they gave her) all the tricks of the trade when they were caught. Minna fought hard and convinced the police that Tatiana had nothing to do with it, who would think that a thirteen year old girl would have been a theif? The police bought it and they put her back into the system.

After months of living in the new orpanage, Tatiana and three others staged a break out. Really they just got on a train and crossed the boarder to Belgum. They split up once they got to Antwerp, but Tatiana didnt stop there. She snuck onto a ferry going to England. She was caught trying to get off, but there was no where for the police to take her. They didnt think to look into a missing child from coutries away. 

Tatiana seemed to strike out in her luck in her final orphanage. She lived in Spurgeon'sOrphanage for four years. She was one of the oldest, so she helped out where ever she was needed. She still went to school, but if the younger kids needed her she would skip. Shae Appelhof was Tatiana's liturature teacher and the two were close. Shae and her husband were going to move to America so Shae could be a teacher there and Channing was going to go back to law school. Shae asked Tatiana if she wanted to come along. She wasnot going to be able to stay at the orphanage for much longer, so she agreed. Shae and Channing officially adopted her and that was the last time she was adopted. 

Shae and Channing tried to change Tatiana's name to Betje, but Tatiana didnt take to it. She prefered Tatia and that is what she decided to go by. The trio moved to Des Merveilles when Tatia was seventeen and she finally felt like she was at home. She was still in contact with the Wagners and she still missed them, but this was her home now. 

Tatia finished high school and tried to find a job. She couldnt find one though. Shae offered to give her a teacher assistant, but she didnt want to take it from Shae. She kept trying to find something. She got an interview at a company called Kimek, but she doesn remeber it. She just remebers waking up and having pain in her back. 

Her dog Tadeu was curled up tightly next to her and she couldnt get up. Everytime she tried to she felt a tugging on her back. Once she got her dog shoed, she got to  the bathroom and screamed. Channing came running, but Tatia locked the door before he got there. He tried to get in, but she jumped out the window. She staid in the yard, but she didnt let anyone find her. 

Protruding from her back, between her sholderblades, were wings. They were light blue and leathery, lik you would expect dragons wings to be. They were beautiful, there were so many shades in them, but they slightly frightened her. 

Just before sunset, Tadeu lead Shae to where Tatia was hiding and Shae was surprisingly ok with it. She helped Tatia hide them and Shae wored with her until she actually could fly with them. By the time she was nineteen, she was flying almost perfectly. They still hurt sometimes, but she was used to the familiar ach. 

Shae started 'teaching' her at home. Tatia really liked learnig new languages, so Shae thought she should tackle that hardest one. She got a tutor to teach Tatia Manderine and American Sighn Laguage. Taita loved the challenge. 

She doesnt really know how to control it, but sometimes they will dissapear. They seem to know when not to come out, but she is working on controling it. They almost always comeout at night. They can tuck tightly against her back so she can wear a coat or sweatshirt to hide them and when she sleeps they dont bother her unless Tadeu snuggles between her and her wings. Which he does quite often. A lot of her clothes are open backs or have slits cut in them so she can use her wings when she needs to. Channing still doesnt know. 

Thad isnt the tipical college student. He really carea bout his classes and doesnt party or drink. He is conservitive and quiet. He gets nervous around girls and has absolutly no idea what he looks like. He is shy and sweet. He isnt easy to get to know

Thad and Tatia spend time hanging out, often. Tatia has gone to LA for a trip and spent almost all the time with Thad. Neither of them ould ever admit they like the other, but  they both do. They do things like watch anima together, go ice skating, reading or just being to gether. 

Thad keeps trying to get Tatia to talk about her trips around Europe, but she usually shoots that down. When That comes to Des Merveilles, Shae will invite him to stay and have dinner. Thad and Tatia usually speak Portugues around the other, just so people cant intturupt. Channing doesnt like Thad, but he doesnt have much of a say. 

Tatia showed Thad her wings and he liked them right away. She has even taken him flying
