i am here today to give a word of advice to people.

especially the public.

about fandoms.

and ships.

to start off, what is shipping?

> shipping is putting two characters, be it in animations, cartoons, or in real life, together in a relationship.

> for example, you can ship a boy and a boy, a girl and a girl, a boy and a girl, a girl and an alpaca, an apple and an orange

> please just note that the shipping possibilities are ING endless

common terms in shipping include

> otp: one true pairing - that you find the most genuine ship of all, and it is the mother of all the other ships and it will never sink because you ship it too much for it to even sink

> name x name: the person who tops name x the person who bottoms name; in other words, the person who puts it in name x the person who takes it name. (there are some exceptions to this, like taoris for example.)

let's get into the rules that i have created for myself and to share with others

RULE #1:
always, always, be true to your ships. not.
(but obviously it's okay to secretly openly like other ships with another character, for example:
you ship taoris, but you just found out recently that krisho or kray isn't that bad.
IT'S TOTALLY FINE TO SHIP BOTH.
NOBODY IS GOING TO STAB YOU FOR SHIPPING TWO SHIPS THAT CONTAIN ONE SAME CHARACTER. (like above)
and if they do, feel free to stab them in their appendix or where the sun don't shine.)

RULE #2:
never, never, ever, ever, disrespect other peoples' ships.
you can ship anybody you want, like yulsica or xiuhan or chenlay or whatever.
JUST DON'T DISS THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T SHIP WHAT YOU SHIP.
for example, i ship krisho, xiuchen, hunhan, and i don't really ship taoris or xiuhan.
but i don't go around telling people "OMG GUISE THIS IS THE HOLY GRAIL. XIUCHEN IS THE IT THING MAN. YOU MUST MUST MUST LIKE IT."

because hey, like ual preferences, 
we all have different preferences.
some people who are gay may like gay people
some people who are gay might also like bi people

understand?

this was totally directed towards people who try to force their ships on others.

LIKE YOU I DON'T LIKE THAT PAIRING, I LIKE THIS OTHER PAIRING.

BUT I DON'T FORCE MY PAIRING ONTO PEOPLE.

and their ships

no matter what fandoms you're in
and what ships you ship
