I'm already failing a class. Well it's not exactly fair because there's barely any grades in the grade book yet, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm failing. Stupid timed writing.

I had a timed writing which is when I had to write an essay on a given topic. I'm usually alright with timed writings, but for some reason, I panicked on this one and completely screwed up. I got the lowest possible grade (which was on a scale from 1-6 or something like that: 1 is like 57% and 6 is like 95%. Why no 100%? Idk it's not fair). And what's more embarrassing, she commented "you should have technically gotten a 0%." Ugh why me. I want to cry in the corner. Well anyway, I think sophomore literature is much more difficult than freshmen lit. I literally have to stay up until 2 AM just to finish all my homework. Sometimes, I get too exhausted to even study (which is a bad habit; I don't recommend it). Hopefully, I can get used to the workload soon. Unfortunately, I love sleeping (I sleep quite a lot even during the school days), so it would be a huge sacrifice and struggle for me to sleep less. Nevertheless, I can't really do anything about it unless I want to fail and get a low GPA. Sounds pretty depressing, but 'tis life.

The struggle is real.
