It’s been one year since I started writing and posting in AFF. It all started just for fun. I remembered I was reading FFs in this site last X’mas break and all of a sudden got the idea – why not write one myself?

So I started with “Love is to let go”. I still remember the joy, encouragement, thrill and excitement when I saw the 1^stcomment to my story.

I didn’t see this coming. I thought it’s just a X’mas break random writing. This short story cast a writing spell on me and now writing has become a significant part of my life. I’m doomed and just cannot stop.

The 2^ndstory “Things are not the same anymore” was a very unpredictable adventure to me. The original plot in my head was actually “My Heart”, the version having a relatively sad ending. But when I reached the point at which I needed to separate Eunhae… I COULDN’T DO IT!!!!!

When I wrote it’s like I was a friend walking by their side. As the story developed I loved them more and more and found myself caught in a dilemma. Original plot or Eunhae?

And now you all know what my final choice was (Eunhae of course). I was so glad that I could come up with an official happy ending. Nevertheless I had to be loyal to the original plot and that’s why I continued with “My Heart”.

So you see I really don’t have full control over my stories. The stories reveal themselves to me and many times I’m surprised how things actually took place. “The Road to Redemption” was originally… something… totally different! It’s roughly the scene or idea that the best vampire hunter is keeping the most powerful vampire in his basement; trying to hide this secret and at the same time find a way to save his best friend.

When I sat in front of my MacBook to draft the story line, the story revealed to me it’s not like that! Even after the draft was done, a lot of things changed in the course of writing. In the draft Eunhyuk was saved prior to all other souls were freed. Again the story later decided to free other souls first.

And Henry was originally not Henry. I cannot completely recall now. Once it was Leeteuk. Once it was Kyuhyun. Anyway finally it was Henry!!

I like fantasy stories. The story I’m working on now (In the Name of Love) also takes place in a fantasy world. The thing I love about this is that I can basically do whatever I want!!! I lay down the rules!!! Hahahahahahaha~~~~~

Nevertheless “In the Name of Love” will surely be a challenge to me. It’s different from what I have done before. I hope I can keep improving and enjoying the whole thing. And after this, I hope I can go back to write some short stories taking place in some real life context. Well… just a preliminary plan…

Finally I LOVE SUPER JUNIOR! I LOVE EUNHAE! I LOVE EUNHYUK!!!!!!! I hope they last forever because… I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE AFTERWARDS!!!
